Bugging out May probably be the only way to survive in a crowded Urban environment, but they’re a lot of areas where you’re better off to hunker down and count on your weapons.

I live in semi-rural Kentucky, I’m going to defend myself here rather than take off to starve in the woods

Eventually every ‘bunker’ will be found out for those who bug in.

It’s a short term approach.

Living in the burbs might get you a week plus after ‘event zero’ before the soccer moms and their hubby trash go nuts and start trying to break down your doors for water, food, supplies.

I imagine a lot of “last stands” in those scenarios.

You won’t starve in the woods either if you know what to look for. The biggest obstacle to me is not food, but rather keeping an invisible profile.

I really don’t think Americans know just how dangerous a desperate human being really can be.
