So, if an employer (say, Houston Methodist Hospital) were to say you HAVE to have this shot or get fired, can you tell them yes without repercussion? No. They require "proof".
I can't wait for the lawsuits for the violation of HIPAA.

I am on the Board at a local dog club. We have many club members that are asking in classes or other occasions if other club members present are vaccinated. A few times I've been close by and said out loud "that is private medical information and you can't ask that" at which point the person usually sheepishly says they "were only kidding" (right!).
One of the venue organizations that puts on trials locally recently put this out on their site: "Clubs, Judges and or Exhibitors are not permitted to require, determine eligibility, or ask about exhibitors' vaccinations in such a way that it may be felt discriminitory or an invasion of their medical privacy to those who have or have not been vaccinated."
I'd love to propose our club having such a policy at our next board meeting BUT all but one or two on the board are liberal (mask nazi's also!) and will see nothing wrong with vaccination queries being asked by others.
I've already tried talking with one of them and they saw NOTHING wrong with people asking, didn't see that it was private information since "it's so contagious" and flat out said this wouldn't be an issue if everyone just got their vaccination.
So....I'm looking for some good suggestions and information that I can counter with. I need my ducks in a row before I present this!
Show them a picture of bruce jenner now
Ask them who that is
If they say caitlyn jenner
Say “if you can pretend bruce jenner is a woman, you can pretend I’m vaccinated”
Or
Ask them who the president is
If they say joe biden
Say if you can pretend joe biden is the real president, you can pretend i’m vaccinated
Or
I only discuss any of my medical issues with close family or my doctor
Or
Whatever answer you are wanting me to tell you, thats what I am. Move on.

Around here (Seattle area) you don’t need to ask anybody if they are vaccinated.
“Hi, I’m 21twelve, how are you today?”
“Why I’m GREAT! I just got my second shot yesterday. I got the Moderna vaccine. I sort of wanted the other one, but hey - take what you can get you know!? I had to wait like 6 weeks before I could even get in. But I finally got my first shot 2 weeks ago down at the facility by the stadium. It was really smooth - went great. Biden’s doing a great job. I stayed home for the last two weeks but I got my second shot yesterday so now I can get out of the house. I still wear a mask though because Fauci - boy, he’s doing great too - I love him - well he says even though we are vaccinated we should still wear a mask so that’s what I’m doing.”

Those hyped to be vaxxed say yes right away, its a bragging thing, they go on and on about it. Firsthand experience with it.
Anyone teling them to stuff it they already know no.
So have fun with it.

Perhaps not. But they don’t know that.
The couple times I’ve been asked, I just reply with *Not yet.* and that shuts them up.
It’s not an unreasonable answer because of the issues with getting vaccines to people.

That may be but I’m told by senior management that it is prohibited to ask any health question of my workers ,and our business is not health care.
If YOU’RE vaccinated, why do you care if anyone else is? I don’t understand why anyone who is vaccinated would care about anyone’s status.
If a guy asked me that, I’d ask if he’s circumcized. If a women, I’d ask if she’s had a hysterectomy. I mean, it’s all supposedly private medical data, between you and your doctor, right?
I mean, the government can’t violate HIPAA at will, can it?
