NYPD Officer Anastasios Tsakos, who was killed early Tuesday by a drunk driver in Queens while directing traffic away from an earlier crash, was a father of two and lived in Suffolk County.

Beauvais, who was allegedly intoxicated and driving with a suspended license at the time, allegedly sped away from the scene with a ‘completely shattered’ windshield before being stopped by police. Notice how many time in the article the word "allegedly" appears.

Nope. She killed a cop so it doesn’t matter who she is.

I would not be surprised if the defense is that she has a substance abuse and mental health disorder and is not fully responsible for her actions. With the right jury, and the help of complicit media, this would probably fly. She could end up in a long-term rehab facility, with no prison time.
