With race the topic du jour, it is odd that more attention isn’t being paid to the most obvious discrimination in our society: that against Asians. While employers commonly engage in such discrimination, the most viciously discriminatory organizations in our society are universities. Thus, Senate Republicans offered an amendment to the new “COVID-19 Hate Crimes Act” that would have ended federal funding of universities that discriminate against Asian American applicants. The amendment, sponsored by Ted Cruz and John Kennedy, was narrowly defeated by Senate Democrats. Aaron Ginn comments:

Waaaahhh. Asians vote overwhelmingly Democratic, as to be expected from non-western people in general. I also don’t care about university quotas, as is white gentiles have been a minority at Ivy League schools for several decades.
China is noticing the “Affirmative Action” against Chinese Americans, and they are justified in their anger.

We were friendly with Japan, until Congress passed the Immigration Act in 1924, which limited Japanese Immigration to the US, this greatly angered the Japanese, and was a factor in the rise of the militarists, and with it, well you know what eventually came.
I have zero problem with Asian Americans it’s the FOREIGN Asians that take American students seats in our universities, often paying in CASH along with all of the other foreigners doing the same.
American colleges should be for Americans ONLY.

Those foreign Asians along with all other foreigners pay full freight to the University and as such, the Universities WANT foreign students because of that.
I got that info. directly from the Dean of WIU, where my own son attended until he graduated in 2019 Magna Cum Laude. Son was in the highest honors program the University had and all us parents met the Dean personally. He was great that way.
Why not - they vote for killing babies who’ve survived an abortion.
Maybe Asians should stop voting for democrats than.
My daughter is an American citizen adopted from China... she deserves to be treated justly... but because she is Asian she has to perform better than others just to have an equal shot at college admissions...
