A Georgia mom has had it with the mask mandate for her child and other children and laced into a local school board demanding that the masks be taken off.
She stood before the board and told them that she knew she would get backlash and hear “but Ms. Taylor the CDC” but the woman, Courtney Ann Taylor, was not concerned.

One might think that politicians comprise a set of the most ignorant and dishonest ...er...people...in the world.
But this means that one has neglected to consider publik skool boards.
Time for same people to get ON the school board and change course.

Yup. Quit whining and do something. Run for the school board and take it over.
If you think 2020 elections were rigged, check out school board votes. Polling places limited to a SCHOOL, to make it easy for every employee of the school to vote for more money or sympathetic board members who typically are teachers from another district. They do NOT mail ballots to every voter that you can be sure. They don't have the people at this level to harvest and twice the seniors would vote against new taxes.
Here in rural MO, the kids have been back at school for 3-4 months and do not wear masks.
Organize people to vote them out from the school board. Use the public comments to tell them you are going to get their seat. Nothing else will work.

Oddly, I see kids wearing masks all the time with no apparent problem. It’s like putting on hats and gloves to them, just another item that you wear before going out. It’s adults who act like petulant children re: masks, not the kids.
I bet this mother is also an anti-vaxxer.

Please explain to me how understanding and explaining disease transmission and the rationale behind the measures taken to control transmission make me a Democrat?
Or is it now a conservative/Republican value to eschew public safety and just allow people to die from disease, toxins, shoddy construction, etc., in the name of “freedom”? Do you really think such wanton disregard for human life is a winning conservative value?

Well, I’m very much a PRO-Vaxxer and I’m very much against requiring school children to mask up.
How many kids have caught it? How many got serious cases?

Don’t know but we’ve only had 36 deaths in over a year and most likely all 65+ aged and likely in nursing homes and likely with 2-3 comorbidities.

My son is suffering from frequent nosebleeds now, real doozies. He NEVER had any nosebleeds before this.
The other day he got the nosebleed at school, and you want to know what he said? Dad, you wanna know the worst part and best part of getting a bloody nose at school? The worst part is my nose was bleeding, the best part was I didn’t have to wear a mask for an hour.
No apparent problems she said....... Not only is there a real problem represented with blood, but just look at the mental side. Here is a grade school little boy who will take a nosebleed over wearing that damn mask.

I’ve told this anecdote before, but my 8 year old grandson’s school is currently doing “virtual” classrooms. So, the neighborhood kids sit in front of their computers, then, when school is done, they all go outside or to one another’s house, and play together, without masks, for the rest of the day. Lake County, just outside Cook County, Illinois. It’s the teacher’s union, and some of the teachers, themselves, who are refusing to go back to the classroom. In the meantime, my daughter has to hire a private tutor, since an 8 year old boy gets little or nothing from a virtual classroom. Then, she spends MORE money to send him to a park district program to supplement learning. Funny...they’re able to have large groups of kids together...
