Let me guess, ‘on the radar’ but for whatever reason(s), they opted to not do crap? That lame arse excuse getting about as worn out as Propaganda Minister PsakiIdiot saying she will ‘cirlce back’ on some such.
They didn’t drop the ball.
They didn’t want to interfere with MKUltra.
Off to look for nooses masquerading as garage door pulls!
The FBI was vacationing/investigating the alleged ‘noose’ at a NASCAR track that weekend.
Am I reading this right? As long as he did not espouse any racially motivated ideology he was not considered to be a danger. So not an interest to the FBI? Does this mean if there had been a swastika or KKK hood in his possessions all those people would still be alive?
He didn’t have an evil assault weapon.
When did FR get filled with nitwits who are cheerleaders for a police state?
The FBI was too busy going after peaceful protesters from the Jan 6th peaceful protest rally.
They put this country through three years of Russia, Russia, Russia, but they didn’t try to stop this.
Then why did they seize his gun?
(Armed robbery on the part of the FBI?)
Does anyone know what type of weapon he used and where he got it?
This article says the police seized evidence from “a home associated with Hole” after the shooting. I find that language very odd.
Does this mean if there had been a swastika or KKK hood in his possessions all those people would still be alive?
They showed up, could find no evidence of a crime in the planning, nor evidence of communication with radical groups, so they left. They were being honest when they said they had ‘knowledge’ of him. But they had nothing to hold him on.
Please don’t take this as support for the F.B.I., it isn’t. It isn’t. He was a nutter who came to their attention, but there was nothing they could do.
At what point does physical intervention become necessary? This is why it is in our interest to support an armed, trained citizenry. 9/11, for example, would never have happened if we werw allowed freely to carry anywhere and everywhere. But we cannot allow arrests on the basis of suspicion. We’ve been slipping into that path with too much ease of late.
The FBI needs to add My Little Pony obsession to their profile assessment.
I hadn’t seen his pic, now that I have, and having worked with some patients with the condition, I agree with what a poster on another thread stated. He looks FAS.
FBI made sure that no one would stop him.
I agree. I think it is important that “normal” people be allowed to carry. Specifically because we can’t lock up everyone who seems “odd”.
If the day comes when come “odd” guy decides to walk into my general area carrying a firearm, I would like to be comforted by the thought that those of us in the crowd arer ready to defend ourselves.
Doesn’t mean no causalities. But it probably prevents 8 casualties.
First thought is for those he killed.
Looking at photo: before he would have been considered a sad looking teenager that probably needed help. His mother tried, apparently. (Unknown yet. I am projecting here.)
Was he disruptive in class because of inherent “toxic masculinity” and given drugs to make him more manageable for his teachers? Or a nasty bully to others.
Possibility of help for him and those he killed is gone and he is now he is just murderer and a lost soul.
