Dallas is very Blue these days and is full of foreigners and out of state libs. Austin and Houston are the same. The state won’t be red much longer and the red voters who live here are mostly rural and won’t mess with you as long as you’re not trying to break into their house. My son used to live north of Dallas. When they pass Constitutional Carry, I will give them kudos as being a gun state.
You will never see the BLM dipsticks out in the area between Dallas and Tyler because we are on our own out here except for our sheriffs. Consequently we are well armed and rather intolerant of this kind of foolishness. That being said, if I was there with my wife and this occurred my first priority would have been to get her out and my pride be damned.
