I don’t get the “silence is violence” thing. What exactly do these mobs expect of people sitting in a restaurant?
The mobs expect you to raise your fist in solidarity with them. Right now, they are restrained and just shout in your face, perhaps spit in your food and take your drinks. The public beatings will quite likely follow.

This happen in Auston last year. The only reason the guy in Auston who shot/killed Garret Foster was not charge there was video footage showing Garret pointed the weapon.
If you defend yourself with a weapon you better hope the business has a camera on or someone else is filming.
