The chief medical examiner in Washington, D.C., confirmed on Wednesday the causes and manners of death of four people who died during the Jan. 6 Capitol riot Two of the four deaths were ruled natural, one an accident and the fourth a homicide, WTOP reported.
Ashli Babbitt is the person that was murdered.
Image from the report below:
“The District of Columbia Office of the Chief Medical Examiner on Wednesday released the official cause of death for four people who died during the Jan. 6 Capitol riots, ruling that protester Ashli Babbitt’s manner of death was a homicide.”
“Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Francisco J. Diaz said the cause of death for Babbitt, 35, was a gunshot wound to the left anterior shoulder,” the report continued. “Her manner of death was ruled homicide, his office said.”
“Authorities previously said Babbitt was shot by a police officer as she allegedly attempted to climb through a door window inside the Capitol building,” the report went on. “The name of the officer has not been disclosed by local or federal authorities.”
Imagine if Chauvin’s name was protected in Floyd’s case?
If the case is now ruled to be homicide there should be a trial for the police officer who shot Babbit.
Despite the extraordinary video, conveniently captured by an Antifa-supporting activist named John Sullivan, there have been very few attempts by major media outlets to dissect what really happened with the shooting of the Trump supporter.
Investigators have determined the Capitol Police officer who shot and killed Ashli Babbitt during the U.S. Capitol riot should not be charged with any crimes, a law enforcement source familiar with the investigation told NBC News back in February.
The Wall Street Journal first reported that police investigators have recommended the officer not be charged, although the U.S. Attorney’s Office will make the final decision on the matter.
Should the police officer in Babbit’s shooting answer for his actions?

Of course it was a homicide.
All “homicide” means is one person killed another. Killing a person with a car is a “homicide”. Accidently dropping a piano on someone is a “homicide”. Shooting someone in self-defense is a “homicide”.
Homicide has a different meaning than murder.
The shooter of Scalise was killed . Those officers saved a lot of lives that day.
Remember Lon Horiuchi?
It seems you have as much proof as everyone else posting here.
Homicide is a medical term on an autopsy it in no way indicates anything other than the nature of the cause of death was not natural or biological. Any cause of death caused by the actions of another human is by medical definition a homicide. It is up to the DA or federal investigation to determine if that homicide was 1 a justified homicide,2 a negligent homicide or 3 intentional homicide then and only then would it be referred to the courts for an indictment for intentional homicide or with malice or depraved mind murder. So far the Fed’s have ruled this a justifiable homicide. The autopsy is simply reflecting the medical facts its not a gotcha moment so many are hoping for. The facts of the laws are that locked door that was busted open is prima facie evidence that access to that secure location was denied like it or not busting open that secure door is more than enough evidence to authorize force as the Fed’s have already come to the same conclusion. Here in Texas if someone busts open your door you also can shoot them on sight or even through the door while trying to break it open the act of breaching the locked door authorizes the use of force and in Texas when force is authorized deadly force is automatically implied as all force in Texas is considered to be capable of causing grievous bodily harm or death. Maybe busting down doors in one of the most secure locations in the world is not a good idea just saying. For those who will flame where were you on this day I was in front of the washington monument with a few thousand others so bugger off.
Of course it is. Anyone whose death was caused by another persons actions is a homicide.
What this was was Murder, not simply homicide
Now, who pulled the trigger?
Agreed.
It took this long to reach that conclusion?
Oh wait isn't this what boner is calling the "bloody 6th of January" and all caused by President Trump?
I’d be happy with Ditch in the clink.
Shot through the NECK ? Hollow Point round.?
It doesn’t take a genius //
Doesn’t take a genius to read either.
Shot it shoulder is what that autopsy the article says.
Neck
Upper chest
Neck
Now shoulder.
We all saw the vid
Where was the bullet hole in her clothes ?
I didn’t see any hole in her clothes , none.
No blood splatter on folks within 2 feet both sides and behind.
If it wasn’t a major organ hit but a shoulder wound and she bled out where was all the blood ?
Did she only have half a pint in her body ?
Still calling this a theatre production.
Shoulder now huh ?
Whatever.

Well, that’s likely. But I suspect DAVID BAILEY (the cowardly ambush assassin of the unarmed, unaware and non-threatening Ashli Babbitt) wasn’t a prime mover of that. They had three officers there assigned to protect Scalise. The three of them were apparently clustered all together by the 1st base dugout instead of strategically deploying themselves around the field in a state of high alertness and situational awareness on the lookout for any potential developing danger. You know... arrival of each new vehicle should have been under close scrutiny as should have the exiting occupants of said vehicles. An individual carrying an SKS rifle exiting a newly arrival vehicle should have been IMMEDIATELY addressed by the security detail before the had the opportunity to set up a firing location.
When the shooter was FINALLY engaged by the three members of the security detail, it was the female officer who sustained a bullet wound as she fired upon the shooter. DAVID BAILEY suffered no bullet wound. He was supposedly “injured” somehow (scratches from gravel as he closely hugged the ground?) but was NOT SHOT.
If he had been a regular street cop who took out an armed black perp, his name would have been plastered all over the news, he would have already been tried and convicted in the press, his job and life permanently stripped from him, he and family would be in hiding for their lives, and his house would have been destroyed by Antifa/BLM.
Also, the propaganda narrative that one Capitol Police officer was murdered by a blow to the head has suddenly and anonymously vanished.
But the democrat party soldier that murdered her is yet to be named. We have a criminal government.
The Chauvin trials is currently going over the use of force policy. The individual who shot Babbitt violated that policy. (I have not seen the D.C. use of force policy but I know it does not permit the use of deadly force in this situation).

It wouldn’t have mattered anyway.Have you ever seen an expanded Black Talon round after it hits its target. It expands to the point that the bullet edges are sharp as razor blades and they will destroy whatever tissue or blood vessels they hit.
She was dead within a minute of being hit by that bullet.
