Major corporations in Texas and Mississippi are reassuring their customers they will continue to enforce mask mandates and other CDC guidelines in reaction to the state governors’ recent announcements.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott led the way, and Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves followed soon after, by repealing state-wide mask mandates and lifting lockdown orders on Tuesday. The new state guideliness give businesses the green light to return to 100% capacity.
The following 13 major corporations have already released statements or responded to inquiries that confirm their mask mandates and other coronavirus guidelines will continue to be in force despite states lifting their lockdown orders....

OK, I don’t need to shop at those places anyways.
“Surprised Costco wasn’t on there they are really anal about masks.”
Maybe anal about enforcing the masks on customers, but their employees have their noses hanging out of their masks all day long. I see it every time I’m in the store.
I’ve been using Porters for some time now, wife likes HEB.
Know this corporate America: if I have the choice between going into a store that enforces these ridiculous mask mandates vs one that has returned to normal, my choice will *always* be to go with the non-woke, normal store for products and services. I don't care if there is a price differential, even a significant price differential. You "woke" corporations are fools, and I will always choose to support someone else.
Look. There’s no law that says a business can’t require a mask. Its their right. When the mask mandates were announced they were being rescinded, I automatically assumed retail was going to continue to require them. So no surprise to me. I wear mine under my nose and I have had only one person say anything this whole time. I’m drama free but you can freak out if you must. Don’t go to those places if you don’t want to wear a mask. It has been a year and you’re still trying to figure this out??
The fiancé and I live in Mississippi. She works at a local branch of a multistate bank that is headquartered in Mississippi. The bank informed all employees that mask wearing will continue.
“Relaxing common-sense safety protocols like wearing masks is a mistake,” said Jason Brewer, vice president of Communications and State Affairs at the Retail Industry Leaders Association.”
RILA is one step away from being bankrupt - Jason Brewer will soon be looking for a job in a Chinese Mask Factory.
Where is the parent company located?
Would you fly a Japanese flag in your yard if it was made in America?
H‑E‑B not requiring them of customers
“Would you fly a Japanese flag in your yard if it was made in America?”
I’m just saying Toyota has a lot of employees in Texas. I don’t know if it is still true, but several years ago the most American car you could buy was the Camry. Made in (I think) Ohio and had a higher percentage of parts sourced from the US than GM, Ford or Chrysler cars.
And not one employee is a member of the UAW.
Boycott
Now its unenforcible.
Customers can tell them to pound sand. They can try the “trespassing” crap but customers can say they won’t be back. It should crumble pretty quickly.
You are all too right.
Especially in our liberal cesspools.
Our small local businesses are also run mostly by liberals, and they all scare easily. Scared of a little bug, and scared of offending all the other fearful liberals.
I fear they’ll never let it go.
All that is true, and nice, except....
...ultimately it funds foreigners. It goes to MITI (Ministry of Trade) in Jap gov, and supports the brain trust.
Meanwhile we have people who turn screws. But don’t know how to make them so they actually work, etc. IOW, basically like the illegal Mexicans decried here.
If we don’t have the brain power and the capital circulation, we’re done for.
I would love more choices but the behemoths Walmart and H-E-B have sucked the oxygen out.

Define for me again what fascism is.”
Thanks for the list; now I know where not to shop/stay/see movies.
I don’t go to any except occasionally CVS; it has drive through pharmacy lanes..
“federally protected classes”
Hearing disabled customers are in one of those groups.
Maybe some ADA lawsuits will change those companies’ minds about mandating masks.
Which service companies?
What happens when a bank employee encounters a hearing disabled customer that doesn’t know sign language and lip-reads ?
Toyota bought up NASCAR, or Bill France, or a noose factory or sumpthin.
