SHOCK POLL: 29% of Americans Support Dividing the United States into Regional Countries
Big League Politics ^ | February 20, 2021 | Richard Moorehead

New polling indicates that more than a quarter of Americans have soured on the Union itself, and support dividing the nation into sovereign regional unions.

29% of Americans support the notion of their own region seceding from the Union and becoming a sovereign country. Polling on the matter conducted by Bright Line Watch, a neoliberal organization, suggests that support for secessionist ideas has increased considerably in the last decade, with polling in 2014 indicating that just under 24% of Americans supported regional secession.

That’s why if you want to drive leftists right up the flagpole bring up white nationalism.

Perhaps there would be some value to declaring that blacks have a right to self-rule in their own independent [former state] countries?

That pretty much backs them into the corner of defending black nationalism, while simultaneously excoriating white nationalism.

And it puts them in the awkward position of moving their voter base effectively 'out of the country'...

Texas has a bunch of internal problems to solve:

—The Mexican border—must be closed, but lots of the elites in Texas benefit from the labor of illegal aliens as well as legal trade

—The cities—large enclaves of leftists in most of them, including many universities

—The media—leftist propagandists

—Rising taxes and cost of living—partially due to education costs of previous illegal aliens (with more on the way) and partially due to a bloated state bureaucracy

—Green energy—total nightmare, threatens electrical grid

Secession by itself solves none of those problems.

You are correct.

Note the continued economic slability (for the most part) since CoFad (yes spelled incorrectly), but then we are told it is the been counters and administators and the Stock market that is the generators of the economy, not.

If a county is blue in a State, then negotiate with it to have you supply power water etc. The county shrivles and becomes like NYC—— what is that ciity generating apart form stock option and is going to be moving to Florida because NYC sucks.

The Blue states can hold their collective breaths, but in reality they have Zero to bargin with.

Blessings

Yeah. Boy, did THAT not work out.

To paraphrase BipolarBob: If at first you don't secede, try, try again...

I've been thinking that it looks like the only way to avoid the increasing attacks on White people is to move to an area where there are no Blacks. I'm also afraid that 'people different than me' are spitting in or otherwise contaminating my food in restaurants.

At 77 years of age, I'm trusting people different than me less and less.
Albeit, my family doctor is a young Black male.

To be fair, the history of that particular war was written by the victors. The versions taught in the Nawth are far different than those that Southreners learned as recently as a generation ago.

Perhaps freedomjusticeruleoflaw is too young to have been taught that version, or he was raised in government propaganda mills in the Nawth?

The problems with dividing the country is that Californians will invite the Chinese in so that they can invade the new nations of a free America.

BS. Which South American country has done that, invited the Red Chinese to "take over"? Mexico. None have. NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN. The China scare as you present it is BS.

Only 29%? You can add 10 to 25% to that.

No, I was not aware of that.

I see Texas has about 15,000 wind turbines and produces one-quarter of all U.S. electricity from wind. Sounds like a big commitment.

Cities in a new red state country will be a problem but not an insurmountable problem. Martial law for a few years then let them up slowly.

Balkanization, in whatever form, is an ever present aspect of civic affairs. But I don't see regional differences, at this point, overcoming the homogeneous facets in America's "regions". The disastrous emphasis in our society of "pure democracy" makes secession, formation of new regional governments etc. unlikely.

Outside of election fraud, IMO, this is the most dangerous way for the Rats to continually attack freedom:

Since 2008, 15 states and the District of Columbia have passed laws to adopt the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact (NPVIC), which is an multi-state agreement to commit electors to vote for candidates who win the nationwide popular vote, even if that candidate loses the popular vote within their state. The NPVIC would become effective only if states ratify it to reach an electoral majority of 270 votes."

I think this treachery is currently short of something like 74 electoral votes. And if the Rats defeat attempts to stop election fraud, the NPVIC is probably their best hope (once the SCOTUS is packed) for turning America into a socialist hellhole.

If I were doing it I would close any university with the slightest hint of leftism and build new universities from scratch—likewise for any media outlets...

Secession by itself solves none of those problems but allows an independent Texas free reign to take care of those issue.

Fixed it.

Yes, many , including national voter numbers have been brainwashed that if a state is blue it is the whole state, when in fact it is just a few high density sardine pack towns or coty counties that are blue.

Seige works.

And the polititions know this, if they push hard enough then those tiny little county islands of blue are all they have to “rule over”

Blessings.

An independent Texas would need an army of about 2 million to quell city insurgency. This army would be readily available by conscripts and with volunteers. Not a prolem for Texas.
