According to The Aviationist, as many as 28 aircraft including as many as eight H-6 bombers “intruded” into Taiwan’s Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) between Jan. 23 and 24 – just three days after President Joe Biden took officer.

China is a Maritime Dependent Empire with a brown water navy. Even if they sank US carriers and invaded Taiwan, if the US NAVY quit protecting Chinese cargo ships traveling around the world, and oil from the Middle East to China, the Chinese economy would collapse.

CVNs are a threat, so you train to destroy them. Makes sense.
What doesn’t make sense is seeing the PRC as anything other than threat and taking steps similar to ones taken against Germany and Japan prior WW2.
Hasn’t China been killing about the same amount of Americans every three or so days without any action whatsoever? Not to mention massive damage to the economy.

Our subs are probably tracking and plotting course on every sub we know about of theirs, this is nothing new at all and should be expected.

I would expect them to do this. It does not make them more evil than they already are, or less for that matter. I expect the Russians do the same thing I’d bet the British, French, Japanese, and Indian navies at least think about how to do it.

They should be afraid of our nuclear attack subs. Very afraid. The only caveat is that the Chicoms have their boy in power here now.

I would guess that if China attacked a US ship - or Taiwan - the following three things would happen:
1. All trade with China and the US would cease.
2. All Chinese assets in the US would be seized.
3. A US naval blockade (at a distance) would cripple the Chinese economy.
Is China willing to accept all that?

News Flash! Every nation on Earth who is NOT the US should be training their navy to potentially sink US carriers.
And this is news? Our aircraft carriers are the biggest show of force in the world where we are able to project our force practically anywhere. Of course they are a target.
