I’m back and doing pretty good. Have to get back into the routine now that my focus on rehab is declining. Many of my comments will be from a 30,000 foot look trying to connect dots i’ve watched over the weeks. These are my views and analysis, but the points have been in the news extensively. The biggest thing I’ve seen while down was the pro-vcxx forces doubling down on the vax mandates- on a global basis. On the flip side, massive percentages of businesses and govt agencies moving forward with the mandate are facing upwards of 40% of the workforce saying not only no but HELL NO to the mandates. Lawfare goes on and results will depend upon the judge.
Violent pushback rising in Australia, Europe, Israel and various cities in the US (NYC for example). This is creating a vax-unvax chasm for civil unrest.

Democrat inaction on the debt ceiling is looming hard and fast. Should they fail to raise the debt limit, a catastrophic economic train wreck will ensue. Not my fear mongering but words of Yellen and other economists. Our private sector is on wobbly legs as is and a national shutdown could well be the straw that breaks the camel’s back. THIS IS THE BIGGEST THREAT TO THE COUNTRY IN THE NEAR TERM.
National employee shortages continue to plague businesses trying to get back up and running. Unemployment benefit boosts and rental protection now passing, but little movement to ease. This shortage covers ALL sector of the economy.
Worker shortages are creating supply shortages - both from the production side but in transporting goods across the country.
there is a shortage of truckers, shortage of containers, there are months worth of shipping backlogs on both coasts.
Inflation talk has ceased to being called “transitory “ but now economists are grudging admitting it will go into 2022. Oil is at the highest prices since 2018 and govt efforts continue to limit further development. But as in other sectors, workers are absent from eh picture.
biden vaccination mandates threatens many businesses as upwards of 40+% of employees are willing to be fired/walk of the job rather than get jabbed. Facing this pushback, some businesses are reassessing their support of the mandate. They cannon afford to lose even a small percentage of employees and maintain operations, with little to no prospect of backfill with new employees. Employee refusals cover a broad spectrum of the economy. Many in the health care, police/ems, military, and others are reportedly holding the line. These businesses in some instances are rejecting even medical and religious exemptions, actions that are harding resistance.
INTERNATIONAL ECONOMIC IMPACTS. The US economy is not the only one being hammered. The whole world’s economy is on wobbly legs for many of the same things hammering the US economy.

General illegal flow is 200k+ per month with additional that are not caught. We’ve seen the debacle on the Texas border where most of those thousands were released into the US unsupervised. Afghan ‘refugees’ are already committing crimes on US bases and cities where they’ve been placed. Now with tens of millions of illegals in the US, democrats are trying to craft side door ways to grant citizenship.
Add to this the deliberate actions to demoralize and gut the border patrol forces. The lies against the mounted border patrol agents by no less than biden are a case in point. All moving to essentially remove all controls on the border.

Loss of officers as a result of the ‘defund police’ has been compounded by vaccine mandates driving more losses. BLM/Antifa continue to have free reign in dark blue cities, though levels of violence in protests are down. General violent crime and murder rates have skyrocketed in these towns.
Multiple rifts in the national unity are breaking wider
1. Wuhan jab mandates/passports. Many of the left are going as far as demanding non-vaxxed suffer complete isolation from society and loss of rights. Even as far as calling for camps. Non-vaxxed element are fighting a furious court law fare against mandated jabs and passport controls. biden tripling down on his non-mandate ‘mandates’. I expect to see some form of national passport to control transportation (airlines, trains, busses, etc). I expect economic attacks such as social security, medicare/medicaid, veterans benefits, etc via removal of benefits. I expect pressure on insurance companies to raise rates on unvaccinated.
2. Another fissure is the CRT indoctrination. Front lines have been in the schools and with school boards. Teachers unions have been radical in pushing CRT and associated in the classroom in opposition of some school boards and parent demands. Universities continue to be a hot bed of indoctrination.
3. Still another fissure is political Red vs Blue as republican governors and state legislatures push back against the many biden executive orders and mandates. Lawfare is ongoing. Impacts of biden border, wuhan, economic policies are being weaponized against these states. Example is biden’s reduction of wuhan treating medications being cut 50% to Florida.
4. BLM/Antifa continuing threat. While substantially toned down from 2020, they are just one perceived unjust action from law enforcement or govt to explode into violence. Should the economy crash due to debt ceiling / govt shut down actions, sectors supporting BLM/Antifa would be among those hardest hit and may generate looting / riots when financial / welfare support is removed.
5. The general Red vs Blue cultural conflict composed of the above plus cancel culture efforts.
The cumulative results of these multiple stressors is that the pressure is building and that we are only a triggering event away from things becoming kinetic.

United Airlines is set to terminate 593 of its employees who have chosen not to comply with the company’s vaccine mandate, the company confirmed to The Epoch Times early Wednesday.
The United executives told staff that more than 99 percent of domestic employees “chose to get vaccinated, excluding those who submitted for an accommodation.”
“For the less than 1% of people who decided to not get vaccinated, we’ll unfortunately begin the process of separation from the airline per our policy,” the memo reads. “This was an incredibly difficult decision but keeping our team safe has always been our first priority. The pandemic is now killing more than 2,000 people per day—a 65% increase in just the past 30 days—and the most effective way to keep our people safe, is to make sure they’re vaccinated.”
OBSERVATION - 99% ? I think they are over stating it.

US govt is facing (creating?) two major threats to our economy
1. No continuing resolution - this poor excuse for a mandated budget, it should have been passed many months ago for this FY. Its current morph is the ‘reconciliation’ bill that is loaded with socialist goodies. The democrats are in the midst of an internal war between the progressives and moderates. For once the Republicans are not stepping in to pull their fat out of the fire. No CR, the govt will be forced to shut down. It would damage the economy because it is currently supported by the outrageous govt spending.
2. Debt ceiling - The cap on national ‘debt’ is going be hit sometime mid October. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has said the Treasury will likely exhaust extraordinary measures by October 18, potentially triggering the first federal credit default in history. Without debt increase, the US faces default on loans and payments globally. As with the CR, the economy in the US and even the world is being supported by gross US spending . This could cause a global recession if the ceiling is not raised in a timely manner.
OBSERVATION - A massive default and crash of the US and global economy is necessary for the WEF to step in as the rescuers of the world. VERY HIGH RISK AND POTENTIAL of democrat controlled congress dropping the ball on this in and attempt to shift the blame to the republicans. As with other democrat strategies, they are willing to burn everything down as long as they can rule over the ashes.

The worlds’ most indebted developer, Evergrande, let its’ interest payment on its dollar denominated bond due March 2022 come and go without the interest payment being made to bond holders. Technically, they are not in default until 30 days past the due date of the payment date of the bond. On the heels of that event, Evergrande has another interest payment due on another dollar denominated bond this coming Wednesday. Accordingly, Evergrande stock and bond prices have been pummeled.
Evergrande is 5 to 6 times the size of Lehman Brothers when it collapsed in 2008. The network of banks and companies intertwined in the success or failure of Evergrande in China and around the world one could surmise is much larger as well. A collapse of this enterprise could have such an impact on world markets and could start a cascade of financial destruction because of the growth of debt and entwined derivatives since 2008.
China is also facing a coal shortage and equivalent power grid failure forcing some major plants to be closed. Guangdong province — a manufacturing center responsible for $1.7 trillion, or more than 10%, of China’s annual economic output and a bigger share of its foreign trade — has been rationing power for over a month. The restrictions have forced companies across the province to shut down for a few days per week. Some local authorities are warning that power rationing could last through the end of the year.
It’s not just Guangdong. At least nine provinces have said they are dealing with similar issues, including Yunnan, Guangxi and the manufacturing hub of Zhejiang, forcing regional authorities to announce power curbs Part of this was created when China tried to impose pollution controls and resultant coal generation shut downs. China has spent very little in ‘clean coal’ over the past decade, instead building dozens of coal plants to fuel its industrial growth at the cost of high pollution. The power loss is beginning to send ripples through the overall china economy
A secondary effect is the further delay in shipping goods to the world. Currently the shipping backlog could take months to clear and lead to shortages during the year-end holiday shopping season. That leaves little room for any additional problems, such as the power shortages.

Europe General -
After going green and shutting down its coal, fossil fuel, fracking, and nuclear energy production, and feeling mighty virtuous for doing it, Europe is now going cold — freezing cold. The region faces a bad winter ahead with energy shortages across the board. This is not helped by the reliance on Russia for natural gas. European Natural Gas prices are up 500% in the last year.
Several U.K. retail electricity providers have collapsed in recent weeks because of the surging price of gas. Energy experts warn that some German power suppliers are in danger of going insolvent. Germany’s electricity prices, which were already the highest in Europe because of heavy reliance on renewables, have more than doubled since February. Electricity has jumped as well in the UK.
A former energy adviser to the U.K. government warned last week that the country’s energy shortage this winter could prompt a “three-day working week”—a reference to the coal and rail worker strike in 1974 that caused the government to ration energy for commercial users.
OBSERVATION - this is the potential future of the US as global warming left forces more ‘green’ sources and coal/gas/nuclear plants shut down. The cutting edge is Kalifornia, which had major brown outs last year when wind power failed. Similar the disaster to the Texas grid.

The Cumbre Vieja volcano on Spain’s La Palma island continues its eruption with lava finally reaching the ocean. This volcanic eruption is anticipate to last months or even years. The concern is that it could trigger a massive landslide along a fault generated during a 1940(?) eruption. Landslides on this and other canary islands are documented. Such a landslide is projected to generate a tsunami that could devastate much of the US east coast. The current eruption is a Strombolian style with fluid basaltic type lava. The eruption center is south of the area of landslide concern. Local geologists will be monitoring the fracture as part of an overall monitoring of the eruption.
MY ASSESSMENT is that the current likelihood of a landslide is low, but could change if the center of the eruption moves northward and inflation along with more explosive activity places greater pressure on the fault plane.

Slipped into the 3.5 Trillion “Build Back Better Bill.” is an item where employers can be charged as much as $700,000 per unvaccinated employee. The mechanism, buried on page 168 of the Democrats’ ‘reconciliation’ spending bill, will allow a tenfold increase in fines for businesses with 100 or more employees that ‘wilfully and repeatedly,’ violate a section of labor law that deals with workplace hazards, of which Covid-19 is now a part.
The increased fines on employers could go as high as $70,000 for serious infractions, and $700,000 for wilful or repeated violations — a sum which can be applied to each instance of a violation rather than a total limit.
New Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-NY) announced Monday that she is deploying the New York National Guard to replace healthcare workers who will be fired after tonight for choosing to not take the COVID-19 jab. MSN reported that according to state health data, 16 percent of New York’s health workers have not been not received the full COVID-19 shot. The new forced vaccination mandate will affect up to 70,000 of the state’s 450,000 hospital personnel, who could be suspended or terminated from their positions starting on Tuesday. Another 25,000 employees at nursing homes and adult care facilities are also facing the threat of losing their jobs.
OBSERVATION - These medically trained NG members are likely already working at hospitals and other medical facilities and if reported positions affected are correct, they are likely to be undertrained to replace those fired. NY will essentially be the lead test case of the degradation of medical care due to fired medical professionals and back fill by NG. I really don’t see this working out well.
COMING SOON TO AMERICA - The Deputy Premier of New South Wales (NSW) said this week that those who remain unvaccinated even after the draconian lockdowns are ended will “lose freedoms.” Deputy Premier John Barilaro made the statement after NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian revealed a new three-step plan to ending the lockdowns that includes 70% of the population receiving both doses of a vaccine. “A further and final message to regional New South Wales … that parts of regional New South Wales that are currently open,” Barilaro said, according to Sky News. “The 70 per cent road map does apply to the whole state so there will be individuals in regional and rural New South Wales who choose not to be vaccinated who will lose their freedoms on 11 October.”

Economy -
House and senate democrats are struggling to pass a measure to avoid a govt shutdown this weekend. This has created a circular firing squad of sorts as moderates and progressives slug it out. As I noted yesterday, the republican have so far stayed out of the infighting. Under previous times where shut downs have occurred , very little has affected the economy in general. However, the national (and global) economy has become dependent upon Federal spending and any prolonged shutdown will ripple out the national economy.
Piggybacked onto this is the looming debt ceiling limit coming next month. Default would definitely hit national and global economies.
Fed Chairman Jerome Powell still expects inflation to ease eventually, but said he sees the current pressures running into 2022. This further undermines the earlier talk of just a ‘transitory’ round of inflation. He went on to say “It’s also frustrating to see the bottlenecks and supply chain problems not getting better — in fact at the margins apparently getting a little bit worse,” he added. “We see that continuing into next year probably, and holding up inflation longer than we had thought.” The Federal Open Market Committee last week collectively raised its projection for 2021 core inflation to 3.7% from the 3% forecast in June.

For FY 2021, Border Patrol surpassed the total number of migrant apprehensions made in any year along the southwest border since the agency’s inception in 1924. The unofficial apprehension record shows more than 1,646,000 for the year as of Wednesday. According to CBP, the previous record stood since 2000 when 1,643,679 were arrested. Along with this have been record numbers of drugs intercepted.

YouTube announced it would be banning videos that contain what it calls “vaccine misinformation.” In a statement YouTube said “Working closely with health authorities, we looked to balance our commitment to an open platform with the need to remove egregious harmful content. We’ve steadily seen false claims about the coronavirus vaccines spill over into misinformation about vaccines in general, and we’re now at a point where it’s more important than ever to expand the work we started with COVID-19 to other vaccines.
Specifically, content that falsely alleges that approved vaccines are dangerous and cause chronic health effects, claims that vaccines do not reduce transmission or contraction of disease, or contains misinformation on the substances contained in vaccines will be removed. Strategic Developments /Deployments -
The Navy has created a new task group on the East Coast to ensure it has ready destroyers that can deploy on short notice to counter the Russian submarine threat in the Atlantic Ocean. Task Group Greyhound – which officially declared initial operational capability on Sept. 1 – is a force-generation model for destroyers that is embedded within the Navy’s Optimized Fleet Response Plan.
The plan is to take destroyers that have recently completed deployments and are awaiting maintenance availabilities and make them ready for training and operations in the Atlantic. The ships will be based out of Mayport and Norfolk, Va., and the task group is set for full operational capability by June 2022, according to McLane, who noted the ships will still have a post-deployment stand-down so sailors can see family after being out at sea.

Britain’s (and Europes) energy crisis exposed further. Britain generates more than a third of its electricity with natural gas but has only three days’ storage of such gas. The government closed down its major storage facility to save money, relying on just-in-time supply from the Netherlands and other countries with huge storage facilities. But gas remains in short supply, and its price has risen dramatically. Should a cold winter hit (and is currently forecast) and Russia plays games with its natural gas supply to Europe, things could become desperate.

Iran -
Iran reportedly has threatened to strike Azerbaijan as Iranian heavy weapons and tanks gather at the border with Azerbaijan. “Iran will not tolerate the presence of the Zionist regime near our borders,” says Iranian foreign ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh amid a large-scale military drill along Azeri border, which Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev harshly criticized on Tuesday. Tensions between Baku and Tehran have flared in recent weeks after Azerbaijani police and customs officials began imposing a “road tax” on Iranian trucks shipping fuel and other goods to neighboring Armenia. A section of the main route to Armenia passes through Azerbaijan on land Armenian forces occupied for decades until last year’s 44-day war between them over the disputed territory of Nagorno-Karabakh.

Buried in news over the past weeks is the effort that Hezebollah / Iran have made to supply the country with gasoline. Iran is shipping to Syria which then transports to Lebanon. Hezebollah puppet govt has been under increasing pressure as its economy has imploded and Hezebollah has been facing severe criticism. Public support is critical in allowing them to continue their build up for an eventual attack against Israel.
