Merry Christmas and God Bless JimRob and all my fellow Freepers here. 2020 has been an existential Hell. It's now midnight here on the East Coast - Christmas Eve. I would ask of you one thing, and I know it's a tough one: plase, let's enjoy the spirit of the holiday. The lights, the gifts, the carols, the blessings you have received (and yes, they're around you if you look - start with the family under your roof), but most importantly, the respect and love in your heart for the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To that end, let's declare a 48 hour cease fire on posting anything about COVID, the election, or any other of the scourges that plague us these days. Post only uplifting, humorous, humble holiday threads. The Germans and British did it in the trenches of the Western Front's No Man's Land in 1914. We should follow that example. A truce, for our own personal mental and emotional salvation in this worst of years. Let us come together in the spirit of fraternity and fellowship, with our heads bowed to God and a prayer on our lips.

I have been fortunate to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra several times. Amazing group and great family concert.
One of my favorite Christmas songs is Mary did you know? as performed by Pentatonix. Also, their rendition of Hallelujah is just amazing.

Lol. Good for you! If you happen to listen to Pentatonix, make sure you have good headphones or good ear buds to really appreciate the bass. No matter how many times I listen to their songs I am blown away by their vocal ranges. Just stunning.
