Fauci Laments Americans' Independent Spirit [semi-satire]
Semi-News/Semi-Satire ^ | 20 Dec 2020 | John Semmens

Posted on 12/19/2020 1:19:04 AM PST by John Semmens

COVID guru Dr. Anthony Fauci complained to the Washington Post that "America's tradition of individualism and freedom have made the task of fighting the coronavirus so much more difficult than it would've been had our tradition been one of compliance and obedience."

"In other countries, for instance China, people respect and obey government authorities," Fauci observed. "They tell people to stay home and the people obey. They tell people to wear masks and the people obey. But in America too many argue with the measures the government has imposed on them. They whine about restrictions on their mobility. They object that the government's measures will ruin their businesses. They can't accept that the sacrifices demanded of them are necessary to protect the health of the collective whole."

"Americans are always asking when can life get back to normal," the Doctor said. "Well, how do we know that mandatory masks and stay-at-home orders aren't the new normal? Whether it is or not is a question to be decided by the experts. People need to be patient and wait for the government to tell them what they can and can't do. It is better to sacrifice a little liberty then to die because you are too impatient to await an 'all clear' decision that may never come. Life would be much easier for those of us running things if we had more obedience and fewer questions."

The COVID vaccine sounds like a fraud to me, since it can’t prevent spread.

Bullsh-t! Independence is what makes us, Americans, stronger then those who have a desire to dominate and control others. It’s called free-will which is healthier and preferable to subjugation by surrendering to those who demand unfettered obedience to their will without consideration to what is best to each and everyone.

I met another person who had covid yesterday. He got it in October and still has no sense of taste or smell. Anyway, I asked him if his wife got it and the answer was no. Of the small handful of people I know who have had covid none have passed it on to close family. I find that strange. It just makes me wonder if people are getting it from contaminated hotspots and are not as contagious as we think.

Isn’t a privilege something you earn? It’s how I was raised to understand what a privilege is. A privilege is not something bestowed without merit or any effort made to earn it. A privilege is something you earn, not something you are entitled to have without earning it.

The presence of SARS-2-CoV in a person, reflects the quality of the person’s immune system - more accutely than “the common virus” has.

What may be “fatal flaws” in an immune system that has been dealing “sort of OK” with those flaws, can be “hacked” by SARS-2-CoV.

I know people at Pfizer animal spinoff vaccine maker Zoetis in Kalamazoo Michigan. They recently opened up another facility in China. That’s all I have to say about that right now.

CCP = California Communist Party = CCP = Country’s Communist Party = Casino Communist Play = Chinawood

Check out slot machine themes in casinos around America.

First of those was prince Tuan, who had some sexual hangups. One of the main tasks of a royal prince was to sire sons to ensure the dynasty’s continuity. However, Prince Tuan could not get it up with his wives and concubines, and suffered what Chinese texts described as a “withering of his potency”. Tuan became physically ill whenever he approached a woman. In of itself, that was just unfortunate. How he dealt with it, though, was savage.

Slot machine in Battle Creek, Michigan has the perfect depiction of Prince Tuan. I won’t get further into the Chinese themed slot machines in the U.S.A. right now.

There is more.

I agree with your comments however many, if not most, Americans seem to be increasingly receptive to the notion of dependence. There’s been a profoundly disturbing change in the American character over the past couple of decades. Too many are willing to accept government control over their lives and are happy to sacrifice their independence for promises of government largess and cradle to grave care.

Aside from losing their God given right to freedom this creeping mind set of dependence is radically altering our culture. It is an insidious and pernicious thing because, as you stated, independence is what made us great.

Our ingenuity, creativity, and respect for personal achievement all stem from our sense of independence and the belief in individual initiative. Sadly, we are losing that spirit.

I hope those of us who cherish freedom and independence will start seriously considering what we need to do to preserve our way of life. Its time to lay the foundations for a new path that will restore an environment where the ideals of the American spirit flourish once again.

We are officially living satire, because that’s basically just rewording what he actually believes, I hate that son of a b****.

Merry Christmas, John!

"As for the rest of his family, they haven't really done anything that most of the rest of us in government wouldn't have done given the right opportunities," the Senator [Joe Manchin] maintained. "The American people appreciate the fact that us poorly paid public servants need to be able to supplement our incomes in order to live in a manner befitting the rulers of a great nation. If they didn't they wouldn't have elected Joe president."

Sp many excellent "quotes", we can't repost them all. I like the Manchin one because it's so far removed from satire. Manchin is Schumer with out the occasional centrist pretense, and without the charm.

Thanks, John, for another ever so slightly satirical recap of the week in history.

So which part is the satire?

As far as I can tell this seems to be the attitude of a good portion of the government and the big business.
