Kamala Showing Signs She’s Unsure If She’ll Be VP
Actions speak a lot louder than words, especially when it comes to Democrats. Although Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are still making their victory lap claiming a historical White House win and that the election is over, people are wondering why if she’s so sure that she will be inaugurated just a few weeks from now, how come she hasn’t given up her Senate seat?
In contrast former President Obama resigned his senate seat just days after winning in 2008. He knew won and vacated it immediately…

It does seems odd. Her current term is done in 2022 and newsome already has several (radical) options lined up for her replacement. [
1]. It would give that person a 2 year term without having to be elected...and then by 2022 would be an incumbent and basically a shoe in.

maybe she intends to be VPN senator? You’re not supposed to but there’s a lot of things you’re not supposed to do when they do them.
To: rxsid
That is right!!! Kamala should give up her seat by now for sure!

I have heard it reported that the reason she has not resigned her senate seat is to have control over who her replacement is. She expects to get something in return for the seat.

That's a good point. A LOT of things have been done that shouldn't be done because they are unlawful or unconstitutional.
If she stated she is going to be VP && a Senator (effectively giving her the potential for 2 votes)....Who would stop her?

Maybe she needs to keep her health insurance. Just sayin’. That’s the reason millions of other people don’t leave their jobs until the last chance, when moving along.

Don’t politicians go to prison for pimping out political seats? Didn’t Blago?

That could have been easily worked out prior to the election...and then after Nov 3, put in place even as much as a few weeks thereafter.

The VP IS a effectively a Senator - he’s the President of the Senate and gets to cast tie-breaking votes.

good heavens. it's because the dems can't afford to be down another senate seat until the last minute, and the lockdown governor in californicate can't get his act together on her replacement.
To: rxsid
She might retain her Senate seat and be Vice President at the same time. What/who would stop her?

Why resign? Salary as VP doesn’t kick in until January 20th. Till then she’s pulling down her Senate salary. Plus she’s got healthcare.
To: JoSixChip
She expects to get something in return for the seat. It's like "Gold". Pols think they own this stuff.

Can you believe that both of them were even on the demo ticket. The “behind the scenes” certainly has something planned and in store for the American people and it most certainly isn’t pretty.
