Her 1 vote in the senate at this time is basically meaningless and her replacement could have been put in place (& voting) the week following the election.

One particular problem for someone serving as a Vice President/Senator is Article I, § 3, cl. 4 of the Constitution, which provides that the “Vice President shall be President of the Senate, but shall have no Vote, unless they be equally divided.” So, as a Senator, Kamala Harris would have no vote on any matter before the Senate except in the case where there is a tie to be broken, which is exactly her role as Vice President. Thus, as a practical matter it makes no sense for her to hang on to the Senate seat except as a personal backstop to her VP job.
Biden held on to his Senate seat until January 15, 2009. Pence completed is term as Governor which ended on January 9, 2017.

To me the answer is obvious: She is waiting for Chuckie to force Diane Finewein to retire, thus making Cameltoe the Senior Senator from California and the current CA gov appoints himself to fill Di-Fi’s seat. (but no in the Buttigege way).

Why would someone who has a better than even chance of becoming President in the next few month, having gained the position by knowingly participated in massive voter fraud, care one wit about giving up a Senatorial seat when she could keep it - one crime feeds another; when she Ascends the paper the Constitution was written on will be publicly burned.
