Years back, I knew neighbor who had came to the USA after meeting an American. We spoke on occasion. Once she told me about the apartment in a big complex that the authorities provided for her. She said that the heat in the complex was provided by a steam plant, and that the plant would shut down for the warmer months. But that was all the heat they got that season even though the Russian weather sill would have some cold snaps.

This is one of the slogan of the Bolsheviks, “Land to peasants, factory workers!” I couldn’t help but remember the Soviet slogans – That the wealth of the Russian empire, nobleness, merchandise and clergy grew out of the evil exploitation of slave peasant labor and then workers! Therefore, the land should be given to peasants, and the factories to workers (communism).
