Once upon a time Seattle was one of my favorite cities in the world. Situated as it is beside the beauty of Puget Sound with the Cascades in one direction and the majesty of the Olympic Peninsula in the other, it is placed in one of the world’s most beautiful locations. The climate also is enviable, never too cold, never too hot, perhaps a bit damp but nothing compared to the nearby rain forests. Wandering through Pike Place market was a magical experience then.
Not anymore. Seattle has gone mad, lost to the inherently irrational “progressive” agenda that is raging across the United States. Nothing makes sense. Nothing is logical. It is as if the madness of Alice’s Wonderland had come to life all around you.
I never click on links to blog pimps, but I’ll offer this comment:
There are few places in the world prettier, or more conducive to drunken revelry than Seattle.
“People who howl “Defund the police!” often forget that another important function that police provide is to protect criminals from the angry mob.”
It’s one of the reasons I SUPPORT defunding.
Cops just write us tickets, refuse to enforce against property crimes and prevent the rest of us from pursuing justice.
What the hell good are they under such circumstances?
And forever loses tourists.

The Democrat has urban political machines running since the days of Tammany Hall.
But I’m pretty sure the Democrats got legit majorities in these cities. We haven’t been using electronic voting machines that long. Scamming paper ballots and mechanical voting machines (anybody remember those?) is a whole different field.
Still, finding boxes of Democrat ballots is an ancient tradition...

In other words, the City of Seattle has revoked the concept of personal property.
By that rule alone, the use of deadly violence to protect one’s property will eventually become common, and the decent of the dem run cities into 3rd world hell holes will be complete.
According to the Declaration of Independence, government gains its authority from the will of the People. That authority includes the People’s willingness to grant the government authority for things like criminal control. Once the government give up that authority, it becomes incumbent on the People to protect themselves and their property.
This has been affirmed in Federal and SCOTUS decisions DeShaney and Castle Rock v. Gonzales.
It’s up to the people to protect themselves, as there is no Constitutional requirement for the police to protect individuals, even when the police KNOW that imminent harm will be occurring.
This is why it was OK for the LAPD to evacuate LA during the King riots, as well as why the officer in FL couldn’t be prosecuted for just standing there while students were being murdered.

Yep, the Chinese won’t honor that no nationalism except their own.
Totally true until a certain president made the economy in Mexico improve so much that they started hiring people from south of THEIR border. But the reality is that there are few takers for precisely the reasons I mentioned.
