President Trump and White House personnel are evaluating the possibility of signing an executive order to terminate birthright citizenship in the United States before his first term ends, the Hill reported on Friday. The White House has evaluated legal options to do away with the longstanding policy which hands out American citizenship to any individual born in the United States.
Jus soli, or birthright citizenship, is an increasingly antiquated citizenship policy long since abolished by many major countries throughout the world, including India, Great Britain, Australia and France. The United States is one of only a handful of major nations that provide free citizenship to anyone who happens to be born in the country, including the children of illegal immigrants and so-called “birth tourists” who wish to obtain free American citizenship for their children with no real connection to the United States...

Nah, if he tries some judge will issue a nationwide injunction preventing him from overturning an EO from a prior President.
Oh wait, that only happens to Trump. Over and over. Yeah, Biden will be overturning that and it'll stick.
A simple biden EO will overturn it. biden will not be herased by the courts the way Trump has been. In fact, I bet it will never go into force. A court will slap a nationwide TRO on it and the biden admin will not defend it.

If Biden ends up in office Trump’s EOs will last as long as Obama’s did after Trump was elected.
So what? They will do whatever they want. They interpret the laws however it suits them.
I’m not sure how he could do that. Birthright citizenship is contained in both the Constitution and federal law.
In the history of the US, HARDLY ANY EO’s have been overturned since the inception of the country.
Even Obamatard couldnt’ overturn Dubya’s EO’s.
I don’t think it can be done by executive order. But neither could DACA.
I’m sure the guy who got into office by massive ballot stuffing will be sure to respect constitutional precedents.
I say he give Biden as much work to undo things as he possibly can. If Trump is going to go out, he should go out big.

If he’s thinking this (and I doubt it) he’d be far better off conceding with dignity in public and then laying the ground work for 2022 and then 2024.

There is something Trump could do that would have long lasting effect.
Man, it is not coming to me at the moment. It either involves the ability to fire Govt staff or it involves immigration.
