State Rep. Matt Maddock (R), who is well-known in Michigan as a pro-Trump solid conservative, announced tonight that he is filing the paperwork in the Michigan House to start impeachment proceedings against Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer!
Whitmer has been repeatedly defying court orders limiting her COVID shutdown powers.
And rumors swirl that another Whitmer Michigan shutdown is looming, perhaps starting on November 18 and lasting three weeks. A rumor that she would shut down the state on Friday came and went, though Whitmer held a very odd press conference where Whitmer and her advisors scolded family members not to hug on Thanksgiving.
Maddock told the Gateway Pundit: “Something had to be done. She’s ruining this great state. Small businesses and most dine-in restaurants will be dead by the end of the year. She’s caused the deaths of many vulnerable elderly people who died alone, scared, and pointlessly. This was long overdue,” Maddock said.
Ha. You bring the tree, I’ll bring the rope.

It’s not contractions; it’s curly quotes... which include the apostrophe. You should be able to set your computer to use only straight quotes.
No other website requires that. This is a great site, but the software is like it was designed in 1990.

The apostrophe is probably older than dirt.
Since we have turned into a nation of whiners etc I am claiming discrimination against the Irish for computers in general NOT recognizing the apostrophe.
This lack of consideration causes my name to come up with several variations, which in some cases is good as it is harder to ‘track’ me BUT it is still discrimination
I ask people to at least CAPITALIZE my first two letters of my last name as Oc....... just looks like crap

There is a recall effort going on. There are petitions and a Recall Whitmer FB page with updates on signing locations.
I live in Virginia. That means, according to Whitless law, I can vote many times to impeach her.
