“I think it’s terrible that we can’t know the results of an election the night of the election.” President Trump says during an interview:

It is a terrible and dangerous decision for our Country made by the supreme court, Trump says in the Video.

That’s funny! Why not?

I’m voting tomorrow, early voting, and taking my 18 year old with me for his first voting ever :)

No, not unless he is well over 270, or even slightly over 270 ad the 270 are wins that cannot be overtaken. 8>)

Which of course I am hoping is the case.

If I am not mistaken, which could very well be the case, only 2 states have been granted the right to extended counting days. Pa. and N.C. Is that right, or are there more?

He should go on the offensive and declare victory. Just ask the seven Orange County Republican winners on election night 2018 if waiting days or weeks for the fraud to play out is a good idea. Trump has read the Transition Election Program manifesto and said, Screw That, I’m not playing that game. It’s just like Russia, Russia, Russia and the impeachment. At first you can’t believe they have the gall to try and before you know it, they’re getting away with it.

I thought that the two exception states were allowing ballots to arrive after Nov 3. Counting could be incomplete in any state that did not start counting until election day.

only in a clownworld could it be considered heresy to expect an election to be settled by the end of a date designated as “election day” which has, at least since the advent of television and mass communication, nearly always been the agreed upon expected date of settling the results of that very election.

Sure Trump is up 80 million votes but there is still 9 days for mail-ins to come in...

I may shock some on this thread but I’m going to make a prediction. If Trump gets 270 plus on Tuesday night, Biden will concede shortly after, that same evening.

If he he gets 270 Tuesday night how can Biden concede when Hillarys told everyone he should not do so under any conditions whatsoever..... So if he does that it will show the Clinton/obama/Soros machinery is broken altogether.

I wouldn’t be shocked at that. The way Biden has been campaigning, HE probably voted for Trump already.

A list of ‘late counting’ states would be very useful. I expect a Trump win before some late counting states are finished, but it may affect down ballot races more.

It has always worked before so why not now?

The answer to that is obvious, the dems need more time to try and steal the election.

If the preliminary votes on Tuesday indicate a Biden win instead will Trump concede? I highly doubt it, so why should Biden?

I believe the poster presumes that Trump will win enough electoral votes on election day and should not wait to allow the Democrats to create manufactured fraudulent ballots. (Bush/Gore loserman, 2000)

Joe Biden is a tired old man (Juste un vieille homme fatigué) and probably has an extended legal investigation in front of him.

Hypothetical(and unlikely to happen):

If the election is close and in favor of Trump J.Biden might consider a concession in return for his sealed confession, turning over any money illegally or corruptly obtained to the treasury, and a pardon so he can live out the rest of his declining years in one of his lake homes. (It would avoid a lot of conflict.)

And what's the path for that without Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. Those are the three who won't be able to declare on Tuesday night. Pennsylvania will be counting votes that come in on Friday.

A quid pro quo? Didn't that get Trump into all sorts of trouble a year or two ago?
