Senator Cocaine Mitch McConnell wasted no time in sending the left into a complete furor, by announcing at the tail-end of his tribute to Justice Ginsburg, that he would be bringing a Trump-nominee for the court to a floor vote. In a tweet sent out hours after the passing of the Notorious RBG, McConnell announced his intentions:
In the last midterm election before Justice Scalias death in 2016, Americans elected a Republican Senate majority because we pledged to check and balance the last days of a lame-duck presidents second term. We kept our promise. Since the 1880s, no Senate has confirmed an opposite-party presidents Supreme Court nominee in a presidential election year.
By contrast, Americans reelected our majority in 2016 and expanded it in 2018 because we pledged to work with President Trump and support his agenda, particularly his outstanding appointments to the federal judiciary. Once again, we will keep our promise.
President Trumps nominee will receive a vote on the floor of the United States Senate.
The Senate and the nation mourn the passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and the conclusion of her extraordinary American life.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer had this to say before he offered any tribute or condolences on the death of Justice Ginsburg:
The American people should have a voice in the selection of their next Supreme Court Justice. Therefore, this vacancy should not be filled until we have a new president.

Romney has already said that it is a “lie” that he will not confirm whoever President Trump nominates. All the weasels you mention are running scared, along with a Democrat or two. McConnel and Co. have been on a Ruthy death watch for years. They are ready for this one. Mitch knows he has the votes or he wouldn't have said that he would get President Trump's nominee confirmed. He has already gotten over 200 of President Trump's nominees confirmed. He feels that this is his legacy.

Well, that gets Trump off the hook.

This is McSally’s chance to attack the astronaut as a gun-grabber. She must vote for POTUS’s (presumably pro-2A) nominee before the election, and make it a decisive issue to get back in that race.

If my predictions are correct, (and the media is already insinuating this will happen), there will be riots in the streets concerning any nominated SC candidate. How will that play into PDJT’s law and order focus?
I see this playing into PDJT’s hands. He will tout his nominee’s upcoming confirmation hearing, his/her qualifications and make a big fuss about the death threats, violence and nastiness that the Dems and their thugs will subject the public to.

After Murkowski, we can afford 2 defections. I suggest we offer the same deal Heidi Heitkamp from North Dakota got (she too knew she was going to lose reelection so the Democrats offered her a nice lucrative gig at a Democrat leaning think tank for being a loyal team player if she would vote their way against Kavanaugh which she did).
Between Ernst, McSally and Collins we just need to hang on to one of them. That makes it 50-50 and Mike Pence gets to cast the deciding vote.
Riots in the streets......UNDENIABLY Democrat riots almost certainly helps Trump with his law and order message. People are sick and tired of the rioting.
Payback is a beotch, Schumer. This is what your party gets for the kavanaugh circus. The American people already had a say in replacing RBG when they elected Senators in 2016 and 2018, just as Mitch says.

Tillis will be in. Romney will be in. I don’t know much about Ernst. Murkowski who is not a real Republican is out. So that’s 52 left with only Ernst and Collins being questionable.....and we have Mike Pence as our ace in the hole.

After the Kavanaugh Sh_t Show, we know what the Left will do. Declare the "hearings" irrelevant, and hold a floor vote on Trump's nominee this week.
