Joe Biden’s acceptance speech for the Democratic party’s nomination in 2020 was rife with hyperbole, absurdities and flat out lies.
But it was his opening remarks that struck the first blow against the truth and any credulity Mr. Biden may have had left, since he started his run for the White House.
He said, “I’ll be an ally of the light, not the darkness.”
This writer has several college degrees, over a half century as a student of scriptures and a total surrender to the written will and counsel of God.
When I heard Joe Biden’s remarks, I could not help but cringe. I was repulsed, but was even more amazed by his impudence, even while he kept a straight face.
We all know that an ally, is a friend. Is Joe the friend of America? Is he the friend of the Pope, the scriptures, the Lord? Let’s see.

Touchy (Joe Biden) is a dangerous authoritarian. And he will be in full control of setting up his new police force.
As easy as it is to make fun of Sloe Joe, it is frightening that this appears to be the best the Democrat Party can put forward as their candidate. That party has become the enemy, pure and simple. These people are pathetic and appear to have no drive save for the one to rule. Now, rule without intelligence or morals is most definitely not a good thing.
Rest assured that should Trump get reelected (and I pray he will) we had best be prepared for the violence that will ensue.
There was some commentator of Fox that was mocking Biden for all the light over darkness, good over evil, shadows over sunlight metaphors in his speech. The commentator said he thought he was listening to a script reading for a new Star Wars movie and expected Biden to end his speech by saying “The dark side shall never prevail....may the force be with you.”
