Disbar Kim Gardner and put her Soros-funded tail in prison.

Excellent!

Sure could this couple at a certain Federal Building in Portland.........

I think the rioters fear civilians more than police. Police might not shoot......a civilian will!

I guess the threat of a civil rights lawsuit brought against her personally that she would surely loose made her think twice.

DOJ can still file charges.

Not until Bag Pipes Barr gets through dealing with the Coup Plotters which will be any day now, no really any day now but maybe not until after the election you know, 90 day rule can't break that.

“One has to wonder if the fact the handgun was intentionally made to be inoperative was disclosed at the time of seizure, or was this a sting only made public by the owner after the DA filed charges?”

Stating that it was inoperative was a brilliant.

Didn’t a gun store down there donate a new, nicer rifle to them?

This was always going to be the end state. But the leftist St Louis DA charged them anyway. This is simply a government threat. Leftists know the punishment is the process. They know government has endless resources so forcing a person to pay to defend themselves from the criminal government in and of itself is a punishment for exercising one’s rights.

The leftist goal is also to instill fear in the rest of us not to act when threatened by their antifa stormtroopers.

Owning the land has to do with state “stand your ground” law: if it’s not your ground then it’s not yours to stand. Point is it IS theirs, so under state law their act is explicitly protected.

Other cases could be made, but owning that land makes the easiest case.

Owners or renters, if the land isn’t owned nor rented then it’s much harder to make a self defense case. It is owned by the couple, so easy legal defense.
