The comments to the tweet seemed to show that scientists preferred their science to be based on science, but now Oxford University has announced its intention to decolonize its science and math degrees, as well as offer lenient grading to anyone affected by the Black Lives Matter movement.
"Oxford University has revealed plans to decolonise its maths and science degrees and will allow students of any subject who have been affected by the Black Lives Matter furore to seek lenient marking."

Math be racis....
Great idea. Who needs qualified engineers, scientists and doctors!? Just remember, that new bridge was designed by someone who was passed in classes so the left could feel good.
Anyone ever see the John Travolta movie “White Man’s Burden”???
That’s where we’re heading....
None of those things will be needed in the leftist created 2nd stone age.
maths be hard.
Translation: a degree from Oxford is now worth no more than a degree from Slippery Rock State Junior College.
Another good way for employers to filter out potential new hires. Why hire any blacks if you don’t know their background?
So Oxford says black people arent as good as others traces and need the crutch?
That sounds kind of racist to me...
And one of the problems is that if you see an engineer, scientist, or doctor who happens to have black skin -- you automatically assume they are a beneficiary of the quota system, and very well may not be skilled at their profession.
This is very unfair to the many who are qualified, and actually earned their degrees - but it is a natural reaction to this dumbing down of the standards.
Were just going to have to get used to a new normal of nothing works and often blows up.
So Oxford thinks blacks are inferior? Why else would they give easier grading to Black Lives Matter folks.
BTW, would a math colony be a set?
IOW, fear not the next TP shortage, you have your Oxford sheepskin.
Pretty soon they’ll be no more Rhodes Scholars, since Cecil Rhodes founded Rhodesia.

Watering down requirements? Good to know. When reviewing resumes for positions I will now automatically reject any from Oxford.

A byproduct of affirmative action. This will only make it worse.
