CNN political analyst and Politico writer Ryan Lizza decided during Mondays briefing to follow girlfriend Olivia Nuzzi from April 27 and ask a snarky question about how many deaths would be acceptable to the White House in terms of President Trumps reelection prospects. The only difference here was Nuzzi tried to trap Trump whereas Lizzas verbal grenade was lobbed at White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany.
And as has been the case during McEnanys tenure, the reporter in question became incensed.

LIZZA: But when voters go to the polls in November and they want to judge the President on his response to the President, what is the number of dead Americans that they should tolerate as and where they can argue that yes, he successfully defeated the pandemic?
MCENANY: I think, you know, you're asking the wrong question. The right question is where did --- where did the data ---
LIZZA: [INAUDIBLE] --- thats the question I want to ask Kayleigh, so please don't tell me whether Im asking a right or wrong question.
I watched that yesterday. What a hoot. I really like her.
It’s not lost on me that one is wearing a mask and one isn’t. :)
Disgusting question by a hack who does not care about truth but is campaigning for Democrats.
She should pulled some random number out of her ass.
We were at a public hearing for local government once, and a person asked the Traffic Engineer, “How many people have to die at this intersection before you put in a light?” T.E. responded, “Eight”. (It was funny at the time; the questioner was a professional rabble rouser and thought his rhetorical question was a real “gotcha”. The response shut him up.)
She’s great. Always handles these guys very well.
She certainly needs no advice from me, but I would point out that since the great fear at the beginning was 2.2M deaths, if president Trump can deliver fewer than 2M deaths, I’d call it a great success. How could one disagree with that? And to have the final figure very close to 100,000 is an indication of phenomenal success by our President.
Snark is perhaps the most insulting of all dialogue, no matter what the context. Throwing verbal gut punches indicates the issue is not being addressed, only that emotion has taken over, and whatever moral high ground there may have been, has been completely undercut.
Gee, CNN “analyst”, IDK: How many deaths are/were acceptable to Gov. Cuomo?
If it is less than 2,200,000 and Ryan Lizza is one of the deaths, it is an acceptable number for me to vote for President Donald John Trump for re-election.
It’s really not a question, its a cowardly underhanded subliminal statement that is implying the POTUS has blood on his hands.
3,000 dead babies every day don’t bother democrats one bit.
Ask Cuomo
CNN. Putting the “anal” in “analyst”.
Using their logic, about six seconds into the Normandy invasion....we should have shut down the landing and retreated back to the shores of England.
They make no pretense any more. They, and cnn in particular, are actively working for the democrat party. That question was rotten. The reporter deserves to be banned.
She should answer such a question with a hypothetical about how many would have died under Obama or Biden, pointing out that, under them, the U.S. would probably have had 500,000 to a million deaths by now. Can’t prove it, but neither can the press nor any democrat. ON the same note, neither the liberal media nor any democrat in congress can say that the death toll would have been lower if Trump had not been president.
All the media and democrats can do now, is second-guess, and that’s not how things are run or happen.
She should ask him, how many are you hoping for?
“One death ryan. yours.”
I wonder if it bothers little Ryan Lizza that Kayleigh McEnany is more of a man than he will ever hope to be.
Ryan Lizzard...what a creepy question.
