A video posted on social media this week shows a police officer keeping his knee planted on the neck of a black man who pleaded that he couldn’t breathe and subsequently died shortly afterward.
It happened Monday night, when cops were responding to a “forgery in progress.” Police arrived and saw the suspect sitting in a car. According to the Department, the man resisted arrest so he was placed in handcuffs, adding “he appeared to be suffering medical distress.”
The Police Dept. added, “At no time were weapons of any type used by anyone involved in this incident.”
What the P.D. did not address … is the video, and it’s incredibly disturbing.
The black man can be heard moaning and telling the officer that he’s having trouble breathing.
The officer doesn’t budge, as another officer passively watches.
It’s apparent the man is in distress, as a passerby screams, “That’s bulls***, bro. You’re stopping his breathing right there, bro. Get him off the ground, bro,” adding the officer was “enjoying it.”
The man becomes motionless, an ambulance shows up and the man is taken to a hospital where he died.

The footage, which was shared by bystander Darnella Frazier,
She said on Facebook that “the police killed him, bro, right in front of everybody,” the Washington Post reported.
“He was crying, telling them like, ‘I can’t breathe,’ and everything. They killed this man,” Frazier wrote.
Murder !!!
Cop should be deprived of oxygen for 10 minutes.
Although this appears to be clear murder, the likely cause of record is Covid.
What would happen to you if you Killed A Prisoner while in the Military, or Killed by Strangulation someone you were restraining while somebody else put cuffs on him??
Police get falsely accused of wrongdoing. A lot. But in a case like this where it’s pretty obvious, they need to own it and take the punishment in full.
however, this video shows the absolute stupidity of cops......three cops there that we see and they still had to resort to keeping him face down on the pavement with a knee to his neck....
its hard to defend such tactics...
The cops was telling him to “get up and get in the car” while he has a knee on his neck.
It’s like the cops who beat the stuffing out of a citizen while yelling: “Stop resisting!”
So where did this occur?
A knee on the guy’s neck until he dies. Whoever trained this cop should be on trial with him.
They need to have better mental health checks in law enforcement. And bad seeds need to be weeded out through training. Too many disturbed people are let in. One example is one too much. This is abhorrent.

It interesting how you find the most aggressive police forces in the most liberal cities.
This cop will likely face charges, as he should. But the Eric Garner case didn't lead to charges, so who knows?

He died for nothing. He died for a “forgery?”
RIDICULOUS! His family must be compensated, with punitive damages.
People can’t sue the police, apparently, but the officer, maybe his family, and anything he owns is now the property of the family.
I love all police officers and the risks they take every single minute of each day but how the ^*%*$ can you not see this guy was in distress?
Now here comes the 24x7 for the next 6 weeks of this on all news channels. The race baiters will be out in full force.
