Good call!
New tagline!
Thanks V. K. I haven’t watched that Town Hall yet, but I will bear this in mind and report back my thoughts.
You're apparently hallucinating a conversation we didn't have, about a subject you know nothing about.
I wonder what Scott Adams would say about that?
The edition I use is The Annotated Shakespeare by A.L.Rowse. It photographically reproduces the Globe Edition of 1904.
Honourable is correct.
And if you search my posts here, you will see that from time to time I use this spelling sarcastically, in the manner of Antony's oration.
ML/NJ
Very well said.
2.) High IQ does imply the presence of common sense.
* * *
And if there’s a criticism of Ph.Ds and other high IQ people, it’s precisely that: some of their ideas don’t meet the test of common sense.
Last week I got in the mail the latest free newsletter from Hillsdale College, Imprimis.
This month’s subject is “Thoughts on the Current Crisis” — and the college President, Larry Arnn’s excellent essay, in part, about the problem with relying on narrow experts.

Yes, Steele has been working as hard as Perez for the Dems!
LOL - you're right!
Scott Adams - one totally insightful human being... and with a great sense of the absurd. Bravo Scott Adams. Bravo.
You implied I was a hypnotized daily listener. And you had very little else to say, still don’t.
Carry on.
I used the first one that popped up.
That explains the cognitive dissonance I had with "give me your attention" versus my memory of "lend me your ears".
And yes, I did double-reads at a number of other phrases as well, including the spelling of "honourable".
wholly karp are you 180 degrees backwards...
Gad, I hate spell correct!!!!!!
What I had typed was:
High IQ does NOT imply the presence of common sense!!!!!!
Sheesh. It is as if there is deliberate software logic to somehow make spell corrections and substitutions as stupid and embarrassing as possible!
I don’t know. I saw a 37 minute video of the Town Hall. And I agree that Trump showed a lot of wrinkles, though he looked “natural”.
Martha and the guy looked fine in my opinion. But this is a replay and they may have enhanced the video to improve its look.
The lighting on POTUS had no reds, which made him look more natural in complexion tones. Not the usual MEANIE ORANGE MAN. However the staging seemed to show every wrinkle before they could be found in normal conversation. And his nose appeared scuffed; as if he had used it to stop a skate board sailing on concrete. Knowing he suffers from Rosacea and no clue as to what creates flare ups, could be the pressure in which he finds himself might be surfacing in his face. OTOH, VP seemed to have no wrinkles at all. And Martha...both my DH and I were commenting about her boo-boo and what it might be.
We felt a conspiracy in the works just a short time before the broadcast was to begin, our internet went down. Called several times with no definite answers. About 5 minutes before the broadcast ended, the service was repaired. This morning found the necessity of cruising you tube for a video of what had been missed.
I definitely noticed the nose scuff. I definitely noticed a different look. Let’s hope the pressure will ease in the next few weeks as America gets back to work.
No sarcasm /S/ needed because it is true. When he was admitted to Wharton the requirements were such that you had to have a superior intellect to get in. Sorry if I wasn’t clear enough. However, if you think he doesn’t have a superior intellect you haven’t been watching.
Again, my issue was your having categorized Hoover in the same league.
