I'll concede that Trump is a genius, but also say that IQ is merely a measure of potential greatness.

Now there are some high IQ individuals such as Nassim Taleb who consider IQ to be a pseudo-scientific swindle.

I would not go that far, but the evidence certainly points to the notion that key life experiences are more critical to success than IQ.

In Trump's case, it was his long career in high-end real estate and building a business empire in hotels, golf course, reality TV star, and the countless trials of a man of action.

Add it all together and Trump is a genius who has lived up to his full potential like few people in history.  That's why his title is POTUS VSG :- )

If Trump supports Biden, then TDS requires....

Adams was really funny in this Periscope. Short, impromptu, hilarious.

I’m with you on this. People like to attribute to President some genius ability to play political chess but I think he is just being forthright. He’s been there on false accusations and he probably genuinely feels for Biden’s campaign. If he is such a political genius then some of his other faux pas are inexplicable. He isn’t like Pelosi or her ilk whose every thought is consumed with finding political advantage in every situation. I think President Trump is, at heart, a non-ideological problem solver who just wants to do what’s best for the country. It seems masterful and genius because it is so rare for a politician to be this way.

It’s not only brilliant, but entirely consistent with his stance on preserving due process, especially in college campuses and of course for judicial nominations. I think the wind is out of the sails for the next few SCOTUS nominations for being “Clarence Thomas”’ed.

Lol...I started supporting candidate Trump after Scott Walker dropped out of the race in September 2015.

Adams gets points for going public with his ‘prediction’ early, but that doesn’t mean its worth listening to his babble daily.

You’re aware he’s a trained hypnotist, right?

I agree completely that President Trump is a non-ideological problem solver who just wants to do what’s best for the country. That is why he took on the job of President of the US.

His enemies cannot comprehend this.

They project onto him all sorts of evil and base motives, and even--of all preposterous charges!--incompetence.

Some have claimed that he knows nothing about business, finance, and economics! A self-made multibillionaire with 50+ years' experience building an international financial empire!

They claimed he was anti-semitic! A man whom Netanyahu says is a great friend of Israel and whose beloved daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren are Jews!

They claim he's dishonest! A man who's constantly putting his foot in his mouth because he blurts out truth, uncensored and with little regard for the consequences!

President Trump's enemies do not understand him--obviously because they don't want to.

What they fail to recognise and refuse to acknowledge is that President Trump is a man of towering intelligence, puissance, truthfulness, and fundamental morality.

Intellectually and morally he is far above his enemies. They deny this with everything they've got, obvious overwhelming evidence notwithstanding, which in itself is a confirmation of their inferior intelligence, puissance, truthfulness, and morality.

A man with the instinct in finding the right words.

Now that we’re speaking of Mr. President...let’s
discuss the poor lighting used last night during
his town hall on FOX. Granted, the Lincoln
Memorial has its own lighting (a challenge,
possibly) but the Fox production lighting was
terrible. The imperfections shown on the faces
of all involved was magnified. POTUS looked to
have vertical stitches above his lips (ie
Frankenstein or Children of the Corn) Martha,
she had a cold sore which must have been
extremely painful. Lighting or bungling makeup
assistant? Distracting

I admire Nassim Taleb, and his characterization of IQ as a psuedo-scientific swindle” is probably founded in a specific thing, but we all know two things about IQ, and if you keep them in mind, IQ is probably a fine measurement of thumb:

1.) There are many different types of IQ, and not all of them equal “smart” or even useful.

2.) High IQ does imply the presence of common sense.

I was referring to his comparison of Trump's IQ to Hoover's. Although Hoover was a decent and capable man, often underestimated, he was a middling student and presided over the onset of the last Great Depression. Hoover's remedies did not inspire confidence and as a result America elected FDR, whose corruption and socialist remedies made everything worse -- and he stuck around longer than he should have through his lies and collusion with the press to hide his infirmities, making sure our Republican way of life would be, to quote Miracle Max, "mostly dead." We have never recovered. Trump is our last hope.
