Like zero,” ... “And all of a sudden you become a wealthy guy, you’re a famous guy, then you become president, and people just – people that you’ve never seen, that you’ve never heard of make charges. So I guess in a way you could say I’m, I’m sticking up for him,” Trump said of Biden.
“If that’s not the funniest thing you’ve heard in your whole life,” (Dilbert creator) Scott Adams said, laughing.
The Dilbert creator explained that the president threaded the needle exactly right. Sexual assault claims are a touchy subject because the president has been accused so many times — but he found the perfect way out of this dillema(sic), Adams insisted.
“If President Trump had said yeah, ‘Joe Biden is guilty,’ that would totally open up Trump for the same accusations and you know that would be just automatic,” Adams said. “So President Trump didn’t really have a play to talk about it at all.”
“There’s nobody else in the world who would have found that path, it’s so, it’s so perfect,” the Dilbert creator added, in awe. “The president is embracing Biden…”

Effectively Trump said it had nothing to do with him so Biden should go out and handle it himself.
He took himself 100% out of the issue, without making a claim about whether Biden did it or not.
“Gosh, if you’re not guilty Biden why not fight it?”- leaves Biden in a box- he is guilty and knows it.

I think Trump, by sticking up for Biden is daring the Democrats to replace Biden with someone else.
Sweet. Pres. trump just dropped a double dose of cognitive dissonance on the DNC/MSM crowd.
The last thing Trump wants is for Biden to drop out. This guy is a pathetic loser, and everyone knows it.
Knowing he can beat Biden, Trump wants him to get the nomination. Biden’s replacement is a totally unknown quantity.
I think Trump also wants to get Biden across the finish line at the Rat convention. He’ll be easy to beat and could help Republicans in general.
It’s strange that we’ve come to a place where empathizing and having an open mind until the proof is in is regarded as some kind of communications strategy.

Rumors of the death of the Biden campaign are greatly exaggerated.
President Trump's magnificent, fundamental honesty, morality, magnanimity, charity, and justice are all lost on his enemies, who not only lack all of these virtues but cannot even recognise them. Maybe they don't even know what they are.
The beauty part is the DNC wants Biden. The CCP wants Biden. He is bought and paid for and they know he is senile. He can be pushed around like a sock puppet. the only problem they might have is getting Biden to focus long enough to parrot whatever lines he is fed.
If Biden is forced to drop out, it creates massive problems for the DNC. The Bernie Bros would naturally want the "runner up" in the primary to now be the candidate. If the DNC picks someone else it shows their entire primary process to be a shame, which of course it is. (The Republican's primary process is a sham too, only Pres. Trump beat their system, which is why in 2016 they did everything in their power to try and knock him out.).

Months ago there were many Freepers who wanted Sanders because Biden would help the down ticket and possibly win himself. In just 2 months and dozens of bungled, incoherent statements later (along with his inability to keep his hands to himself) we are now hopeful Biden stays in it. Amazing what a couple of months can do in politics.

It’s also the path that personal experience and a little bit of basic honesty and due process fairness produces.
Trump gets there with no effort. It’s his natural path.
