Modern feminism has ruined life for me in The West.
In Indonesia I found a sense of love and family impossible for far too many men in modern Australia.
Do any Freepers have knowledge of similar life experiences?
Some name I can't read by Gacharic Spin. Pay attention to after 3 minutes.
Yes, ....there are many in Costa Rica.
I thought I was the only one noticing that.
Could you expand on this. I am curious as to why you would think this. Really...This is a respectful question. No snark intended.
Yeah I noticed the back of the hand makes for a great family life on Staten island with the right girl.
I’m just kidding of course. There’s plenty of family girls out there still. You just got to look a little harder than before.
we keep praising the beauty of aspects of other countries and knocking ours then what the *** do we expect this country to become?
a little less crying about America and praising other countries and a little more working on this one and things will be good.
Happy Easter from this guy with a very happy, traditional Italian family with lots of aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews and cousins and now a grand-nephew :-)
You clearly know NOTHING about MGTOW.
If you did you would not spout such nonsense.
Yes. Its not women that is the problem. Most of them are good to great. just like men. But the negative culture is appalling.
extended families work .......nuclear families explode
Yes, I date Hungarian women because they are real women and have less of the indoctrination many American women have.
Even good-hearted American women are corrupted by the media/academia.
Too many American women believe they cannot be seen as sexy and intelligent at the same time. They must choose one or the other.
Foreign women do not have this issue.
Real life is not a story for them.
Thanks.
Not World War Two in the case of the Brits?
What era of feminism did the Brits in?
I agree. I’ve been happily married for about 33 years. Kids are all gone and we’re enjoying it even more.
Some of the guys on this thread have been burned and that is sad.
My experience is far different. We’ve always gone to small to mid sized conservative churches. In my circles, I truly only know a couple families that have split. From my generation literally only two. One was from several emotional abuse by the husband and she tried to work it out for over 20 years.
Still plenty of women who like being women out there - looking for men who like to be men and ain’t afraid to make it known...instead of running away with tail tucked.
Modern day feminism started, IMHO, with what was the egalitarian idea of universal suffrage (late 1800s, early 1900s). It has since morphed and changed to the leviathan that is feminism of today.
Now, one can argue that universal suffrage was not the same as modern day feminism is today. My response to that was the only real difference is modern day society allows the modern day feminist to scream their ‘rights’ from the highest hill tops while the feminist of the early 1900s were scorned, even beaten, for doing the same. However, modern day feminists and their predecessors the suffragettes, believed in the same ideals. Margaret Sanger is a perfect example of a feminist from the suffragette period.
By the way, I would argue that WWII just hastened the UK’s death. Feminism in the absence of WWI and WWI would have just been a much slower death. This is a supposition that I know I could never prove.
This is just a quick summary of my thoughts and I am sure you can shoot holes into what I wrote above but I trust I answered the questions you posed.

Consider yourself one of the ‘lucky’ ones.

“I used to work at an Asian company. About 75% of the company were Chinese, Filipino, or Indian, with 25% American. I noticed that all of the foreign born women were in stable marriages, and all of the American women have been divorced, or never married.”
And the statistics bear it out - something like 98% for Indian, not sure of the rest, but still very high for Chinese.
So, as I tell people, no one intends to enter into a marriage that will fail - so then it becomes a crapshoot once you do get married. And if the odds of a successful marriage are 50% via American, or 90% via foreigner (or at least foreign-born), it doesn’t take much math to figure out which is the option. And that’s what I told my boys, and so far, it’s working out great for them.
I don’t like using emoji’s and am glad we don’t have that on FreeRepublic, but yours deserves a thumbs up emoji
