This past Saturday, President Trump touted a possible cure for Coronavirus (COVID-19) through a Tweet. It’s a combination of hydroxychloroquine and a commonly used antibiotic, azithromycin.
According to the CDC, “Hydroxychloroquine is used for treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus and porphyria cutanea tarda.” It has also been used successfully to fight malaria.
A recent well-controlled clinical study conducted by Didier Raoult M.D/Ph.D, et. al in France showed that 100% of patients that received a combination of HCQ and Azithromycin tested negative and were virologically cured within 6 days of treatment.
You read that correct.
This was a very small study, but nevertheless, quite promising. And in the face of a worldwide pandemic, it is something that should be studied closely, to say the least.
Right?
Well, that depends on who you are and what your goals are.
The Empire Strikes Back Many health experts, including White House Coronavirus Task Force member Dr. Anthony Fauci, have seemingly gone out of their way to throw cold water on President Trump’s excitement.
Why would that be?
I cannot look into the man’s heart, but I do know that the doctor is a huge fan of Hillary Clinton—no friend of our President. We tend to look at professionals such as doctors as if they are health angels who have drifted down from Heaven, rather than as human beings with their own set of biases like everyone else.
Ever since the President announced his excitement over a possible cure for Coronavirus, the media has predictably chosen to downplay the discovery, outright discourage people from listening to the President and to scare the public.
This scare story is making the rounds, that “a Phoenix-area man has died and his wife was in critical condition after the couple took chloroquine phosphate” (an additive used to clean fish tanks), but the media choose not to highlight the fact that this is NOT the hydroxychloroquine used to fight Coronavirus.
See a pattern here?
Yet a Florida man said that hearing about hydroxychloroquine saved his life!
Panic Mode Right now, the media is in a full-blown panic that the public is increasingly listening to President Trump. And why shouldn’t infected Americans seek a cure to this pandemic?
Hillary Clinton herself is mocking the President in an attempt to cause the public not to believe him regarding the potential cure.
Joe Biden is urging Americans not to listen to Trump, but instead to “listen to the scientist,” “listen to the doctors.”
All this sounds reasonable, right? I mean, shouldn’t we listen to the professionals?
The problem is the practicality that Americans and others worldwide are dying right now from Coronavirus. Going through the usual testing procedures could take months, and guess what? Lots of people would be DEAD by then!
Many health officials are choosing to ignore the potential hydroxychloroquine / azithromycin breakthrough and continue to tell us that “Coronavirus drugs, vaccine are many months away.”
This article, published at well-known USA Today, flatly states, “There’s no magic drug right now.” Oh, really?
FDA Approval! Vice President Mike Pence announced yesterday that the FDA has approved the use of hydroxychloroquine for “off label” use to help Coronavirus patients! He went on to say that the Trump administration is working with companies that produce vast amounts of chloroquine.
This is welcome news! As President Trump said, “What do you have to lose?” if you are dying from a disease. You’re not in a position to wait for the results of clinical trials!
We are Americans with the right to do what we can to survive!
This is really just an extension of the President’s “Right To Try” legislation, “which amends Federal law to allow certain unapproved, experimental drugs to be administered to terminally ill patients who have exhausted all approved treatment options and are unable to participate in clinical drug trials.”
During a news conference on Sunday, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced that the state has acquired 70,000 doses of hydroxychloroquine, 10,000 doses of the antibiotic zithromax and 750,000 doses of chloroquine, and clinical trials have begun!
Never Let a Crisis Go to Waste President Obama’s former Chief of Staff and ex-Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel once infamously said, “You never want a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.”
During this crisis, political moves such as attempting to block a Coronavirus relief bill for Americans have been attempted, and appear to have gone down in flames. Thank God for that.
Democrat leaders are dead-set against the President getting any “win,” and if that means fighting an economic package aimed at helping the American People survive economically, then so be it. Political realities, i.e. the hot anger of the American People—finally caused them to see the light.
Re-Opening the Economy by Easter? Yesterday, President Trump announced his desire that we re-open our economy by Easter (“Resurrection Day”). That would be really welcome news, right?
Well again, it depends on what your motives are.
Oh, looky this! Newsweek has just announced, “Over 70% of Americans Prefer a National Quarantine as Trump Eyes Lifting Restrictions by Easter.”
Amazing how fast they can turn out polls when they need them!
Does it make sense to quarantine the entire public for weeks or even months on end, in the name of supposedly stopping this virus? Can you imagine what this would do to our economy? Look what has happened already. The great American health care system used to fight the Coronavirus pandemic is only possible because of our great economy!
And the President’s enemies fully understand this. But they don’t care!
“Some Men Just Want to Watch the World Burn” Let that sink in for a moment. Many of the President’s enemies would rather see our economy crash, and masses of their fellow American citizens die, than to see the President succeed! Their actions are proving this to be the case.
So much for the facade that they “care,” and have more “love” than the President. The opposite is true.
One thing this crisis has shown us; is the depths that people are willing to sink in an attempt to achieve their ends. And I’m thankful to see that. The American People need to know who has their back, and who would stab them in the back.
I’ll put my own spin on “never let a crisis go to waste,” and say that this is one huge value of a crisis—providing clarity on the motives of mankind.
Our Choice President Trump has made his position clear—promising treatments and sound health practices have made it possible for us to climb out of the bunkers, roll up our sleeves, and re-start our great economy. I’m with him one hundred percent on this.
Americans value freedom, enterprise, and ingenuity. We are not cowards by nature. There will be risk to taking this step.
Some should be in quarantine and STAY in quarantine. This would be based on age and condition.
And some likely will die by not quarantining for a longer period. But if we quarantine too long, our economy—the engine of our progress and the hope for our continued strong health care system—will crater, and our hopes for a good life anytime soon will crater with it. And I for one am unwilling to let America go down due to inaction.
You will have to make your own choice. And after all, isn’t that your right and privilege as an American?

I believe that it was engineered in a Chinese bioweapons lab for domestic use. China needs to be rid of a quarter billion people; this disease is highly communicable but kills mostly the elderly and medically compromised (the useless eaters). It got loose before the planned time, and in the process showed all the bad actors of the world that our economy is vulnerable to a bio attack.

I’m not so sure it got loose off schedule.
China had to get the Hong Kong issue out of the news cycle.
China had to keep the Taiwan issue from popping back into the new cycle.
The CCP desperately needed something to blame their impending economic collapse on.
China desperately wants to prevent Trump from being re-elected.
China desperately needed the trade negotiations stalled for as long as possible.
All that points to now being the time.
One problem with what you’re saying, Vermont Lt: Climate change is fake, and requires no urgency to combat. This virus is real and can kill, fairly quickly. People need access to whatever they need to combat it. Thankfully, the President sees it that way too, and through the FDA is making this drug available for use now.

You simply want to argue.
Your Doctor can prescribe the drug. Ask him.
You pretend to not understand how the system works. Drugs are not approved because you WANT them to be, even if you want them real bad.
Learn about how stuff works.
Don’t overlook the possibility that all of this was intentionally created. Globalists have discussed for years the need to radically reduce the world’s population.
What troubles me is what will happen if Trump's pills don't work.
Even the MSM seems to think that Biden doesn't have a chance against Trump. Trump seemed to be in a position where he doesn't have to take controversial positions in order to win in November.
My cause is the Second Amendment. Hillary would have been a disaster and Trump appears to have done quite well in this arena with his judges and Justices. We'll see soon.
It took a lot for Fauci to admit that he would take the drug if he was sick with the virus. His whole reason for being is to bring scientific rigor to the battle against infectious diseases. You don't do that long term by using your intuition.
Those of us who support Trump need to worry about what will happen if Trump is wrong on this. If Cuomo really ends up needing 30,000 ventilators and manages to get them without Trump's help, and he stops the spread of the virus in our nation's most serious hot spot, will Cuomo be drafted to replace Biden?
I like how Trump worked so hard during the 2016 campaign with his super-active schedule and literally drove Hillary into the ground. I was looking forward to Trump doing that to Biden. Let's hope Trump is right.
Did you notice last night there was one word neither Fauci or Brix used. Drugs.
