Abrams, who narrowly lost a Georgia gubernatorial bid in 2018, was the clear front-runner, with 63 percent picking her. She was followed by Harris, the California senator and former presidential candidate, who was chosen by 42 percent of respondents.
Other top VP options included Reps. Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts and Barbara Lee of California, who were both chosen by about 11 percent.

I’ve been predicting it’ll be Abrams for months. She checks off 2 of the key demographic boxes, and she’s (kind of) from Georgia, which the Dems are desperately trying to flip.
(I was kind of hoping Bloomberg would get the Presidential nomination, only because it would’ve been hysterical to see Mini Mike standing next to Supersized Stacey during their campaign stops.)
All those qualities remain with Mabel King. The flabby body and repulsive manners of Evilene is now Stacey Abrams’.
She's also anti-death penalty, especially for cop killers.

If the Democrats think that putting Abrams on the ticket will help them carry Georgia, they may be kidding themselves. But the state almost did make her governor.
Angry, fat, possible dyke, Abrams would be a swell choice.
Abrams won’t “add Georgia” either, she lost and I’m sure White suburbanites are just thrilled at how she refuses to admit it. The whole idea of VPs needing to deliver their state is overblown. It’s a 19th century idea back when people still thought of themselves as “Virginian” as much as or more than “American”.
The last time it’s actually happened? That a VP “delivered” a state that wouldn’t have been carried anyway?
Tim Kaine you think? No, Hillary would have more narrowly won VA anyway, that NOVA fraud.
Gore helping Bill in TN? No, I think he’d have had it, he carried every state similar to TN.
You actually have to go back to Edmund Muskie delivering Maine in 1968, it was a still a Republican state then and 100% would have otherwise gone to Nixon. Johnson brought Texas in 1960. The last time it happened on our side I would say was 1944, OH Governor Bricker was our VP nominee and Dewey carried the state by a tiny margin.
VP nominees can add other things besides a state. In Harris’s case her genitalia and skin tone (which is not too dark!) are more than enough to put her at or near the top of the list. She may be the only Black (and Asian, bonus points) woman on the list that wouldn’t scare White voters.
You may hear a lot of dumb bitches get their named mentioned (Susan Rice) but I think it will come down to Harris and Klobuchar.
For the “adding a state” option Klob might be able to secure MN for Bite me. Thinking she’ll be a great boon in WI and MI is probably a democrat fantasy though, at the end of the day the VP choice is important but not that important.
The cardinal rule remains the soundest advice, first do no harm.
Klobuchar could be chosen - and could indeed help the ticket some I think
Stacey Abrams is a loser for the democratic candidate to pick.
Hogwash.....Democrat Stacey (She eats quite well) Abrams is is the soul sister in lock step with Democrat (Pajama Boy, Druggie) Andrew Gillum and, Kamala Harris is the sole owner of the “Village” bicycle that everyone has had a ride in. Go figure...folks!!!
The speculation in the article is really just indirection to keep people in suspense. Better theater that way.
>>>shes ineligible as Veeps have to meet the same constitutional standards as presidents do<<<
Yeah, I’m sure some Politician will bring that up if Biden picks her.
Thanks for the laugh.
