Why did Obama suddenly start helping Joe?
He began making calls, and deals. Suddenly, they’re dropping like flies.
I believe Michelle Obama will be Joe’s running mate.

If Biden were smart (ha!) he might go for a younger and less visually disturbing option like Gabbard or Sinema. He’s already got the black vote by virtue of his Obama ties, so he doesn’t need a minority VP.

Biden's choice could be Warren. It could be Gretchen Whitmer, the governor of Michigan. Inexperienced, sure, but if you think the election is going to be all about Michigan having somebody from there on the ticket could be a plus. It could be some other little known, recently elected female governor or senator.
It won't be Abrams, who won't even help with the party base. It could be Harris, in spite of the fact that California is solidly Democrat. Biden's limited his options and Harris does have some appeal with suburban women. It could be Klobuchar, though I think she'd probably turn off voters Biden wants to win over.
