What the hell? No store here in Columbus has toilet paper. I'm not looking to hoard the stuff, I just need to be able to wipe my a**. Why toilet paper???? People must have the stuff packed to the rafters in their basements and garages.
Best I can figure the news about no toilet paper during the Venezuela economic meltdown must have scarred our psyche pretty bad.
It's to the point where it might be prudent for the secretary of commerce to hold a news conference and re-assure folks that there is no toilet paper shortage.
that there is no toilet paper shortage
You couldn’t find any right?
He’ll feel better to have an “official” on TV tell him that there is no shortage, even though he can’t find any.
PragerU just posted a video about that very topic https://youtu.be/RSdJwHoXqJI
Absolutely. They're friends of mine.
These fellers have been working around the clock to make sure this flu doesn't do half of what the media hopes it would. They deserve our thanks and respect.
Why, even Shorty (the smallest elf), wiped his butt with his own hat just so the public would have one extra roll of toilet paper to hoard.
Now I've embarrassed him. Sorry, Shorty. But people need to know. These elves are saints!
Why does this so-called modern Nation still use toilet paper? You'd think we would eventually get rid of the Sears catalog and join the 21st century.
We’re all Mormons now.
(Preppers.)
Keep calm and buy a bidet. :)
No way. Too hard on the knees when you brush your teeth.
Sure, toilet paper is available in South Carolina, but there is a shortage of corn cobs:)
It isn’t a “craze” for water any more than TP.
If its something you use regularly and don’t want to be without for what might be two weeks or more, then you need it on hand. Nobody should want to be trying to go to a store while either ragingly sick, or under quarantine.
We use only bottled water in my house for cooking and consumption. Our well water is not so great. I am sure a lot of people use bottled because they don’t like what comes out of their tap.
Two weeks is a fair amount of water.
Not sure where you live, had a tower of the stuff at an end cap and a whole aisle full at the grocery store I was at last night...
Who needs it. Just get some corn cobs. 2 piles of red ones and 1 pile of white ones.
Use a red one, then use a white one to see if you need another red one.
Simple.
Lets see - How do you create a shortage of anything.
Oh, I know - say there is going to be a shortage to make people over buy and hoard it. That will do it every time.
In short, people are not prepared for a “disaster” during their normal lives. When an event disrupts their lives, they loos their minds and fell like they have to DO something. Herd mentality.
The same has happened in every country where COVID19 has struck
Sears was ahead of the curve by going bankrupt.
“Dont you mean Budweiser aka buttwiper?”
I’ve always called that Buttwasher.
With shipping, it might be cheaper to use dollar bills!
Check with your local commercial supply store. 1 ply HUGE rolls are still available. Not the best but it stores forever so put a case in your attic or basement.
I still have a pasture and grass, and a lot of trees to squat behind. I’ll be fine, and I’m pretty confident I can come up with some fish and red meat any time I need it.
Take a shower.
Supply lines could be spotty for a while.
A dog would probably be glad to help you as well.
