If you live in San Francisco, you’re likely pretty familiar with walking past addicts shooting up heroin on the street, shattered car glass shards on the ground or homeless camps. If you live elsewhere and only hear about it on the news or from friends and family, it’s hard to put it in perspective. San Francisco is a city struggling with a multitude of social issues; from drug and alcohol abuse, crime rates and inequality.
What was once a hub for newcomers is leaving a bad taste in the mouths of its former residents as more and more citizens of the San Francisco Bay Area are jumping ship at a record-breaking pace. This is what happens when one Party has been in control for TOO many years.
The cost of living in San Francisco is staggering. Renting a two-bedroom apartment costs $4,650 a month on average, which is the highest rate in the country, and if you want to buy a home in the Bay Area, the median price is $825,000.
In fact, people are fleeing the Bay Area at a rate that hasn’t been seen for an entire decade. However, home prices are just one factor in the exodus. Another issue is California’s changing demographics.
San Francisco has more drug addicts than public high school students.
Also, the homeless problem is out of control.

t’s not compassionate to allow addicts and mentally ill to ignore common good laws and tie police hands, like public urination, vagrancy, etc. Health, safety, and security of any community can’t be sustained, yet this is now a norm in all liberal cities. Why keep voting for this? They have to get rid of Pelosi, Gavin Newsom and London Breed for things to change. As long as they’re in charge SF and California will remain a shithole.

I for one would like to see the state of California audited! We the people need to find out where our tax dollars are, how they are being spent and why this problem is getting worse!
Maybe they need to establish community gardens and call it natural fertilizer.
Good fertilizer for flowers to grow bigger and more plentiful.

And I hope he brings guests up to the podium - like one or two independent contractors who can no longer earn livings because of the idiotic AB5 laws, and maybe some business owners who can no longer do business because of the downtown homeless disasters. Oh, and don’t forget private property owners who are now forced let the homeless camp on their properties.
I know that many - maybe even most - of my fellow Freepers don’t think it possible to flip California. But I can’t help thinking that with all the misery in that state arising from all the idiotic laws, regulations and taxes, and the generally unliveable conditions, Trump might just be able to get it done.

Be sure to poop in the flowerpots everywhere
IMO, President Trump would get a TwoFer if he held a couple of rallies out there. Based on the sizes of the crowds he's drawn before, it:
1) would rejuvenate the what's-the-use conservatives out there to come out in droves and vote in some down-ticket Republicans, even if he didn't win the state.
2) would panic the Democrats into spending money in a state they thought was "safe".
I agree with your assessment
I believe our side should campaign and run congressional candidates in deep blue states and districts. Give them a choice. Sometimes people get tired of the same old same old and start voting differently
The flower pots in pacific heights and sea cliff are the best. I think we should encourage the homeless to head there to set up shop.
Wishful thinking. This state has too few pockets of sanity available to flip for a presidential election. President Trump can campaign here for donations, but electoral votes will be highly unlikely at this time.

I know both places, one is 101 California, the place where the shooting happened that Feinstein got her footing for “assault weapons ban” and the other is the Marina Safeway, where I used to shop 1-2x per week for groceries.
I think there are enough moderate Dems and hidden GOPers (like me) who might flip the insane, moronic CA.
Where do they think they are? China?
My cat also does this in my flower beds.
Oracle World was moved from San Fran to Vegas. They used to shutdown several blocks of downtown SF every year to hold it.
