You may be overestimating the Democrat base intelligence level. If he said it in a low charming charismatic way, they might buy it. He never struck me as that smooth of an operator though.

You are spot on with that proposal and a group of investors will do just that. And we will really have two separate and unequal health care: one for the upper middle class to super rich and another third world system for everyone else including all illegal aliens!
I dont know why people are surprised by this, this is what is called RATIONED CARE..there is no such thing as Medicare for ALL, its Medicare for SOME..you can’t give quality health care to 300+ million people even with all the money possible its not possible..so the Govt will decide who gets treatment and who doesn’t..based on age(My guess is 70+) and also like Ive been saying for a while, they will decide based on politics..and than the death panels will start happening

Doctors do need to be honest with patients about the risks vs benefits of a treatment. This includes discussing with elderly patients if a treatment for a potentially terminal illness will make their remaining years miserable. Some may opt for a possibility few extra years even if the treatment is very hard to go through. Others may decide otherwise. But it is for the doctor and patient to decide. Not for it to ever be a public policy.
