Only snobby, arrogant liberals and Alex Trebek tend to Autocorrect you in a conversation with them.
Apparently, it’s going to be a hot time in the old town tonight.
Who threw water on Hillary?
Smart people say thanks.
When there was a real close lightning I almost evacuated.
I hate when they tell me to evaporate.
(warning: language - NSFW)
That is not true. I think it is a personality type, not a political quirk. My husband’s maiden aunt did it alot, so does my unmarried sister. The first was a secretary and the second an English major.
I cannot put my finger on the personality type, though.
I was always taught that it was the height of poor manners to overtly correct another person’s grammar in conversation.
Maybe Tommy thinks he’s ‘educating’ people. But I’ve seen other Black people do this sort of thing more deftly - I’ve seen a couple of them trying to teach the difference between ‘ask’ and ‘axe’, for instance. They made their points without ridiculing a particular individual in front of the world.
Good thing you didnt.
Evacuating draws lightning.
Youd have been hit sure as sh.... evacuation.
There’s a bedpan app for that!
DANG!
:^)
"Spiritual Word."
And this news pertains to flooding in a place named Chapel Hill, which is also present on the screen.
1 Peter 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
"Evaporate." It's a spiritual word coming from the linguistically limited.
"Rapture." A word that does not mean what many educated people think it means.
Evacuate, talk about timing:
Shabbat, February 8, 2020
13 Shevat, 5780
Beshalach: Exodus 13:17 - 17:16
Judges 4:4 - 5:31
Well, that’s a little more involved and complicated than I would get; but I agree that she seems like a nice lady.
For all we know, she’s a good person and Christian, and does a lot of good for her family and community - and doesn’t deserve public ridicule for confusing a couple of words.
THAT doesn’t seem very ‘Christian’.
“I understand that she meant evacuate. I misuse words a lot.”
Maybe she did mean evaporate. I mean when we have water damage we often turn on fans and floor heaters to help ‘evaporate’ the moisture.
OK. LOL. Never mind. Not even I can keep a serious face trying to save this woman.
Evaporation is very helpful whenever one experiences flooding on your side of the parking lot.
Perhaps she scores zero points on community service/approval. No matter, she’s just there explaining what’s going on, as sincerely as she can describe.
Now if instead she were a criminal caught trying to steal a car, but was foiled because it was immanuel tran-middon, well then she would deserve a heap of internet shaming!
And $25.00 if you way the secret word. (the word is Evacuate)
But she got a participation trophy from English class.
