The reported attack took place at around 11.00 a.m. local time (06:30 GMT). The US military has yet to comment on the claims. DETAILS TO FOLLOW

I’m not smart enough to know if there are powerful reasons to still have men there.
But I know one thing. I shouldn’t be 51 with a war going on that started when I was in my early 30s.
I PRAY no one got severely wounded.
But a suicide attack..just damn.

This picture to me is reassuring. I do not recognize anyone in this picture. Although I have never been able to be confident that I recognize or not a person in uniform even if I have known him all his life. Please, someone who knows more, that wreck is not ours, is it?

I’m guessing by the size and style of the wheel (and the destruction) that this was the bomber’s car. Probably a chunk that was tossed quite aways from the actual blast location due to the lack of damage nearby (brush, asphalt, curb, etc.)

Lord, please protect the soldiers and contractors that remain in Afghanistan. Father God, we also pray that President Trump will be able to bring all our troops home.
And don't forget that before us, there were the Russians who were there from 1979 to 1989 with essentially the same results.
Some problems just can't be fixed no matter how much you spend, and how many lives you sacrifice.
I truly appreciate all the prayers ascending for our troops. I do try to stay focused, relying on the secure knowledge that God is sovereign in all things. Nevertheless, emotions do raise their tentacles sometimes.
I wonder if the traitor Nancy Pelosi knew anything about this convoy and had a hand in telling our enemy where it would be, I wouldn’t put it past her and a whole bunch of other traitor Democrats and Swamp Dwellers to tell the enemy where the convoy would be. Anything to make Trump look bad.
...and our soldiers should not gave had to fight Germany in ‘39-’45 after we put the Germans down in ‘14-’19...
and we still have troops their to stop #3.
Germans have not been killing our troops since 1945, though. Completely different situation. They are civilized.
