President Donald Trump issued a proclamation Friday that will require immigrants to prove they can obtain health insurance before they are issued a visa.
The proclamation says immigrants must demonstrate they will have health insurance within 30 days of entering the country or that they can afford to cover any medical expenses.
The move combines immigration and health care — two hot-button political issues — in the run-up to the 2020 elections. Most Democratic presidential candidates have said they support providing healthcare to undocumented immigrants. Trump mocked that stance on Twitter while Democrats debated in June.
“All Democrats just raised their hands for giving millions of illegal aliens unlimited healthcare,” he tweeted at the time. “How about taking care of American Citizens first!? That’s the end of that race!”

Not for those of us trying to do things legally. 10 months into the 5 month process spending over $1500 on USCIS fees we are still waiting. And my wife as a US military retiree dependent just used Tricare last month.
Dont prove it in 30 days, visa canceled, deportation ordered, warrant issued.
Maybe the 30 days is because they are waiting at the border for permission to enter the USA. Not having any form of ability to pay for health care would be another reason not to allow entry.
There is not a single lib who will admit that their pro-illegal motivations have more to do with changing America’s demographics - and as a result, voting patterns that are pro-Dem - than actual sympathy for Hispanics.
Should take about 18 months to complete the process

This proclamation on a Friday will screw up a lot of peoples’ weekends.
Democrats saw nothing wrong with 0bamacare requiring Americans to obtain health insurance. We should expect nothing less from people who want to live here.
But legal immigration is doing the same thing if not worse than illegal immigration. It makes me sick to see the constant virtue signalling from “conservatives” who are building their own gallows.
The Border Patrol is wasting time and resources taking some of these leechers directly to the hospital, including pregnant ones of course.

That came about from many court decisions. We have to figure out how to keep these random judges from making policy. The special interest groups for illegals sue, then they find a judge to rule in their favor.
