Great song.
He was a cop for 2 years before moving to CA.
Here’s to a Brooklyn boy made good.
RIP Eddie
Think I’m in Love was another of my favorites by him.
I think it’s a good night to break out a bottle and listen to a bunch of Eddie’s songs.
Thanks for posting, EEE.
Ronnie Spector on backup - very distinctive.
RIP, Eddie.
This was a great comeback single for Eddie. Perfect ‘80’s AOR fare on FM, back when it mattered. I’m of old enough vintage to remember who Ronnie Spector was back then, albeit a couple decades younger than her. Great melody, kick-ass bridge. These were the songs that made you drive over the speed limit and not even realize it.
facial expressions remind me of the late Jimmy Durante.
LOL! I’m glad someone else noticed that. Emoting is one thing; looking like a character out of a 30’s comic short is another.
Just like Ronnie said...
Yes!
Oh the memories!!
Great song. Loved ‘Two Tickets to Paradise’ also.
Money had a lot of good songs. One of my favorites is Give Me Some Water.
Saw him live a few years ago and he played a great set. His daughter sang with him on the female vocals and did a fine job.
Live on David Letterman show, with Ronnie Spector
Always wondered if Eddie tapped Ronnie

Back when I had the same hair as Eddie Money!
Just like Ronnie said.
Dang.
Another good one gone.
