Todays Campaign Update, Part II (Because The Campaign Never Ends)
The Bruce Ohr 302 reports were finally released last night though in still-heavily-redacted form and they show a lot of wrongdoing by the former high muckety-muck at the DOJ. The near-unbearable Sean Hannity managed to conduct an interesting interview with Rudy Giuliani on this topic last night, during which Hannity managed to keep his gaping yaw shut long enough for the former counsel to President Donald Trump to say some interesting things about the wrongdoing not just of Ohr, but his wife Nellie, ex-FBI Director and current National Teenage Drama Queen James Comey, as well as the ongoing investigation being conducted by U.S. Attorney John Durham. He also essentially accuses current FBI Director and by extension former Attorney General Jeff Sessions of basically covering up for the corrupt Obama officials.
Here is a clip of that interview, followed by a transcript:
[Note: Ive heavily edited portions of the interview during which Hannity felt compelled to constantly interrupt Gulianis thoughts and remarks. But Ive done my best to capture Gulianis comments in full. All of the emphasis added is mine.] Transcript: Hannity: Bruce Ohrs FBI transcripts are out, and they show an amazing amount of contact with Christopher Steele.
Rudy: Sean, weve known this for a year, right? I began investigating this a year ago when I took on his [President Trumps] defense. You cant believe whats gonna come out. And this is a dramatic revelation now, but Bruce Ohr shouldve been prosecuted and his wife, a conflict of interest 10 months ago. But because we had a justice department that was completely warped [that hasnt happened].
The fact is these are crimes that are shocking. These are crimes that go to the very heart of our republic. These people had a plan to stop the Republican candidate from getting elected, and then they executed a plan to remove him from office on false evidence, false testimony.
The whole thing was made up from the very beginning and they sold it to 90% of our media. Its a tragedy.
Andrew Weisman knew it was false from the very beginning, and then he trampled over 3 or 4 peoples rights. The press didnt care because they were going after Donald Trump. So you can just destroy people if youre going after Donald Trump whether its fair or not.
This is a terrible crime. The dimensions of it you still dont realize. Theres plenty of evidence of what happened in Ukraine, plenty of evidence of what happened in U.K., and Italy. This was a massive conspiracy to try to deprive the American people of who they had elected as President. That should never happen.
Hannity: The 302s indicate that Ohr had lots of contacts with various people at the State Department, that they all knew that this guy was desperate to get the dirt out on Trump. And that all continued even after it was proven that he was a leaker and a liar. How high up did it go, Mr. Mayor?
Rudy: How about Jim Comey? Comey put his signature on an affidavit swearing that Steeles information was verified. I dont wanna presume him guilty, but at least someone should question whether he shouldnt go to jail.
Hannity: It looks like John Durham is spending an awful lot of time in Europe.
Rudy: I know why hes spending a lot of time in Europe. Hes spent a lot of time investigating Ukraine, Italy, U.K. and Australia (the four countries whose operatives are implicated in the Spygate scandal).
(Hannity, who cant keep his damn mouth shut for 2 seconds, interrupts another thought Rudy was about to convey.) Did our top intel officials outsource spying on American citizens for the purpose of hurting President Donald Trump/candidate Trump?
Rudy: There is plenty of evidence that happened. Plenty of evidence, some of it documentary, some of it already recorded, and for a year, people in Europe have been trying to get this to our FBI and they have been thwarted, ignored and pushed aside.
There was a deliberate effort to cover this up. It didnt just happen. Even during the Trump Administration there was a deliberate effort to cover this up, to protect the prior wrong-doers. Thats just really sick. Theres something really wrong with that.
And weve gotta get to the bottom of it because we have to get this cancer out of our justice system and out of our intelligence apparatus. These are very important things to us, to be able to do intelligence honestly, and these people have disgraced thousands of really good people who do this every day for us. Its a shame.
That is all.

Wish Rudy was even 10 years younger so he could help out more.
He’s not old but not as sharp as he once was for some reason.
I have to agree about Hannity. I can’t bear listening to him anymore. I don’t disagree but he’s just way too much over the top.
Watched Guliani last night, and if Ohr, Comey and crew were working with Ukraine to dig up dirt for HRC to use against DJT, is that not COLLUSION (and SEDITIOUS CONSPIRACY) with the Russians?
Sorry but righteous conservatives who are demanding justice and the arrest of the lowlifes that used their Federal offices to rig a Presidential election are beginning to look like panting, agitated but chained bulldogs. The perpetrators Comey, Brennan, Lynch, Obama, McCabe and the rest sit grinning inches away. So far nothing. No indictments, no arrests, no trials, no release of documents, no justice. Just a lot of panting.
Rudy’s 75, and not an especially young 75. But he’s still got some chops.
I missed it... Where did he toss Wray under the bus?

Hannity is the right-wing Matthews. Strident and rude and never STFUs. I’ve never been able to stand his show.
I agree that there’s still some gas in the tank.
It’s just not full :)
I just heard that interview. I was actually surprised that Hannity went so far beyond his usual interruptions and would not allow Rudy to make his point. Hannity must be an egomaniac extraordinaire.
Hannity’s heart is in the right place, but I can’t stand watching more that a few minutes. He is like a bulldog playing a broken record. He needs to dial it back a bit. He has gotten too much like Bill O’Reilly did . . . had great guests but never let them finish a thought.
I hope he reins it in because he has been a very important voice delving into the Deep State Russian collusion hoax/ sedition. We need what his voice says, but he definitely needs to improve his bedside manner. It detracts from his effectiveness and reach.
Here we go: Andrew McCabe becomes second disgraced Spygate official to sue over being fired
I’ll give Hannity props for going from a radio guy in Huntsville, Alabama to Atlanta to NY and eventually a coveted spot on tv. That takes work. But, other than that he’s a loudmouth from Long Island who can’t stand to let a guest outshine him. And all his, Breaking News, is normally known about by 9am from sites like FR, Breitbart, CT, et al. I’ve yet to see any “blockbusters” on his show, contrary to what he says all the time.
Man has had his own health issues in recent years. He doesn’t look that good honestly but he’s doing his best to get the job done.
A friend said he’s been known to go out before going on air and have a few. That is probably not the best way to start any interview.
Don’t go crazy, it’s just a rumor from a friend. We love Rudy in NYC because he completely turned the city around. He was a great mayor.
We here on Staten Island revere him :)
He could live here like a king.
If he’s downing a few, that’s not smart and I hope it’s not a real problem but he’s a grown man.
My friend conveyed it from folks in a midtown eatery. I don’t doubt it but I love the man for what he did against the odds in NYC.
Rudy doesn’t look good to me. He’s put on too much weight and at his age, that’s not helpful.
That rumor is 100% truth, and I don’t really have a problem with it.
I’ve heard that from other people too though.
It’s up to him to get healthier because the other options sucks.
