I think President Trump’s suggestion to Ilhan Omar to go back and fix her country is brilliant. She should do so immediately, instead of trying to turn the US into a mirror of what she left.

Two decades ago, Omar M. Ahmad, then the chairman of the terror-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations, was reported to have told a gathering of Muslims that their purpose for being in America was to help make the Quran the highest authority in the nation.

The young woman in question was doing what the President wants Omar to do. She went back to Somalia, her native country, to try and improve and promote it. That is praiseworthy, actually. Omar should try it!

Looking at the colorful pictures of Somalia reminds me of the panorama and people of Panama. Tropical, impoverished, corrupt and decaying. The pictures are not worth the risk.
