OUCH! I was attempting to discuss my upcoming live streams of the Democrat candidate debates in Miami on June 26 and 27. However, Teddy the Golden Retriever who is an unashamed attention hog (or dog), got jealous of me paying attention to the camera and decided to completely upstage me, first with a few nips at my feet and then biting my arm and drawing blood. While I was struggling with Teddy, the volume was knocked out on my camera in about the final minute and a half. Perhaps that is a good thing because you don't have to hear me yell out in pain.
Teddy wasn't really vicious. He was just being playful in his own weird way. Oh, and the bites on my arm look way worse they they actually were. All I am left with are just some very minor bruises and cuts but they sure did hurt when Teddy bit me. Category
PING!
I got bitten by a pug!
Apparently Teddy thinks you will be wasting time on that instead of paying attention to something that matters. Teddy. What we’ll hear (if one bothers) will be: attacks on the msm, nazis, new deal of green, russian interference, muledeer lied and Barr is getting paid off, can’t-i-date of choice vows to prosecute PDJT for, well whatever...... Buy Teddy some milk bones and break out the frisbee. :-)
i got bit by a toothless vampire, now I’m one of the ‘sorta undead’
Mrs. L nearly died from a bite from a very small dog a few years ago. Keep a close eye on those wounds. At the first sign of infection get to an ER. It took less than 36 hours for her to go from just fine to life threatening blood infection.
8 days in the hospital and a fairly invasive surgery to clean it up.

From my experience (n=1), young Goldens can be little land sharks. Not mean, just love to bite things. My wounds did not start to heal until the bite inhibition training started to take hold.
Isn’t that termed “gummed?”
Its a dog-eat-dog world out there. Shoulda given Teddy a frozen hot dog to chew on while you did the streaming.
Do you both have all of your shots?
Well, I had my tetanus shot within the past 5 years.
First a nip, then he bites your arm, tonight it will be your throat when you’re sleeping......
My small dog bit me and that small wound felt like a snakebite, my entire arm and upper back hurt. And I started running a low level fever
I started amoxicilin that night ( have some onhand) and kept a close eye out for infection ( red streaks or bruised looking flesh).. the pain eased but the fever lasted 2 days, I stayed on anitbiotics for 7
if you develop any symptoms get to a doctor asap, there are some bad infections you can get from dog saliva, very bad very fast
Well, I had my tetanus shot within the past 5 years.
Good. But that doesnt work against cellulitis which is what nearly killed my wife. In 36 hours her fever was 104.5. Angry red lines went from her finger, the bite site, all the way past her elbow.
8 days of intravenous antibiotics.
No joke my friend. Keep a sharp eye on it.

Had my Corgi get in a dog fight I pulled him out of forty years ago. He inadvertently bite through my hand. Nasty wound and I went to the ER and got heavy antibiotics. Took a long time to heal
I’m my hound from the pound’s chew toy. He is getting better. I use the ASAP silver biotics gel (shop around for deals)and clears my arms right up. I even use it on my pets. . .had one dog almost mauled to death and decided to use the silver biotics liquid and gel. . .liquid down all these tubes. . .gel all over the wounds. . .even gave him some to ingest. Used the silver instead of the vet’s stuff. I even put it on the cats’ and dogs’ food. Oh, and absolutely no scars left on the mauled beagle. My whole family uses the stuff. . .I could tell you wonderful stories how it has helped all of us. Right now I’m putting it on my rose bush scratches or should I say punctures. Don’t forget prayer. God owns your arms.
Shoot, my border collie draws blood every time I see her. I like it
I had a small mongrel (Spots) when I was a kid who got into a bite fight with a much larger German Shepherd who left bite marks on Spots. We took Spots to a vet, more for the fact that she went into shock than the physical bites. While in the vet’s waiting room, with Spots on my lap, she suddenly leaped into the air and starting snapping in all directions. Luckily nobody was bitten. The vet gave her a tranquiliser and when Spots woke up she was calm again.
I just now looked down at my slippers and noticed, that in addition to biting me, Teddy chewed off the back parts of my slippers.
