A tweet showing aggressively anti-Trump actor John Cusack sitting down during a military salute at the Cubs’ Wrigley Field raised some eyebrows yesterday:
“Here’s [John Cusack] staying firmly seated during tonight’s military salute at Wrigley Field.”
John clearly did NOT like getting called out. He instantly blocked the original poster.
And then he went absolutely HAYWIRE. The man managed to argue that he was simply not standing YET, that patriotism is for chumps, and that Wrigley Field is promoting the military industrial complex, all in one very twisted twitter rampage

John Cusack used to be one of my favorite actors — especially during the late 1980s. However, sometime in the 1990s, I because aware of his liberal politics, especially some of derogatory remarks he made in conjunction with the first Gulf war. I still enjoyed his movies, but he seemed to increasingly go off the rails in recent years.
At this point, he has lost most of his looks and is no longer an “A-List” actor. Maybe a year ago, I noticed he was on a one man speaking tour, that really wasn’t much more than him spewing anti-Trump hate. Sad. Looks like he’s turned into a bitter old Lib.
To a liberal the only proper use of military power is to oppress the American people.
He’s always been a creep. All his movies are weird.
I guess he never moved beyond adolescence.
He looks like a good candidate for the guy behind him to "spill" his beer all over him.

He must be pretty hard up for work. A friend of mine is an actor, says absolutely 100% unless you’re huge name, if you do not toe the radical commie leftist line, your career is over. Even if you have a name they can still put you on the blacklist. Look at James Woods. And they call Trump fascist?
