Justice Department insiders just dropped a massive bomb on Robert Mueller, revealing his Special Counsel team concluded MONTHS BEFORE the 2018 midterm elections there was no proof linking Donald Trump or his campaign to colluding with Russians during the presidential election.
Yet Mueller did not divulge his team’s findings until this week, five months after the 2018 midterm elections. “The most important portions of the investigation were concluded in August (2018),” a high-ranking Justice Department official said. “(Rod) Rosenstein was briefed and it was common gossip and well-known nothing had been pinned on Trump and it was wrapping up.”
August 2018, in fact, is three months before the Nov. 2018 elections, where and when all of the Democrats running against Republicans for House and Senate seats used Trump’s fabricated ties with Russia as campaign platforms. And they won and won big at the cost of the Republicans. And on the back of a massive lie.

I call movie rights. With 3 or more years worth of Leftist deceit, I’ll start with the 2016 election and have sequels covering the bogus investigation, another with the cover-up of the cover-up, and the epic conclusion episode that culminates in jury verdicts of GUILTY!

I'm sure some of those 'journalist' have done something wrong... maybe had sex with a 'stormy' or paid off a whore threatening to 'tell the wife'... or filled in a mortgage application with a slightly inflated number.
And even if we're wrong - the fact they have to defend themselves will bankrump them. Let's start with the puffed up thugs at the Washington Post... I'm sure they were involved with Russians or Chinese or maybe even North Koreans....

So... we are back to unnamed sources. I'm not suggesting that this didn't happen but let me ask the obvious question... "Would the same individual who deliberately delayed the release of the report for the nefarious reason of influencing an election outcome eventually release that report clearing the person being investigated?" There are obviously a lot of things that need to happen here before this can be accepted as fact. In the meantime, it obviously is a question that should at least be asked and explored....
You are forgetting Rosenstein's second expanded scope memo to Mueller, which is still redacted but probably included investigating Trump for obstruction.
It took AG Barr to call in Mueller for an update to his investigation to finally signal to Mueller that it was time to end the pretenses.
