Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, who pleaded guilty in December 2017 to making false statements to the FBI regarding his contact with Russian officials and business dealings with Turkey, is facing millions in legal bills, according to a report.

ABC News, citing a source close to Flynn, says President Donald Trump’s formal national security adviser has amassed legal fees of around $5 million.

Pardon General Flynn

and reimburse him for every cent he has spent in his personal defense.

A pardon is in order here I think.

I have trouble having any sympathy for him since it turned out he sold out and became a foreign agent. A traitor as far as I am concerned. Let him ask his foreign benefactors to cover his bills.

I am having trouble having any sympathy for him even talking to the FBI. Don’t talk. Period.

He should have taken Corsi’s approach and, figuratively, given Mueller and his henchmen the finger.

I honor his service. But I cannot forgive his selling out to the Muslim Nazi Erdogan for any price. He also showed some major stupidity in letting Yates and the FBI scam him into a guilty plea.

“He should have taken Corsi’s approach and, figuratively, given Mueller and his henchmen the finger.”

And now that Corsi has ridden out Mueller’s ugly game, he should sue that worthless ba$tard for a huge sum, because it isn’t “equal justice under the law,” when “the law” has unlimited financial resources. In terms of our “legal system,” we’re not much better than the Soviet Union when the government can and often does break you financially even if it’s unsuccessful in prosecuting you. We need to have “looser pays” like the Brits do, and it should include the government. No more “sorry you’re broke even though we couldn’t put you in jail for the rest of your life!”

Good! Here’s hoping that some on his list will be the same ones on Sandmann’s list. Like CNN, and some of their “on-air talent!”

$5 million in attorney fees for a process crime? I would have defended him for 1/10th that amount and then retired. He’s being taken to the cleaners. First by Mueller and now by his attorneys.

Would a FR person, familiar with DC lawyers fees please explain how Flynn was able to run up a $5 million legal bill in the short time he was working for Trump? Thanks!

There was never a time Erdogan wasn’t an Islamic psychopathic murderer. Not one day. An AntiChrist in the wing. Flynn worked for him.

#14. Some high level DC attorneys charge from $350 - $1,200 per hour, or more. Middle level ones often charge in the $250-$350 range (our family has a good one because of the complexity of the case).

The average lawyer, depending on the type of law, can charge from $75.00/$100 per hour to the $350 level.

I think I’m reasonably accurate to within 15% either way, but mainly up.

When the Soviet Union dissolved Oligarchs running Russian industry got together with key American and European pols and cooked up investment schemes which gave them a piece of the their action. China did the same thing. Millions of Russians who were working for these various industries and services were given shares in their respective companys got screwed when this went on. Putin is an example
