When the Soviet Union dissolved Oligarchs running Russian industry got together with key American and European pols and cooked up investment schemes which gave them a piece of the their action. China did the same thing. Millions of Russians who were working for these various industries and services were given shares in their respective companys got screwed when this went on. I think Trump now has the political capital to pardon Flynn and Manafort and anyone else who happened to be caught up in the Russia witch hunt.
