Save America and the Western World by teaching your children what Socialist Democrats are all about in the safety of their own homes
Parents with school and university age children can make the Democrat-endorsed ‘Green New Deal’ a prime opportunity for a teachable moment, to turn the tables on socialists running amok in Congress.
Children can be taught at home what they’re never taught in class that socialism kills human souls and human hope, that it has a proven track record of bankrupting entire nations leaving their populations to starve.
Lessons need not be long, but short and to the point, backed up by unfailing repetition.
I did this last night with my 14 and 11 year old boys. I asked them for their definition of socialism, how many classes there are in socialism and what is the best deterrent to socialism.
They both had the basics of what socialism is, they both knew there are only two classes (rich and poor) and my oldest knew right off that a strong middle class is the best deterrent. The oldest is home schooled and the youngest goes to a public elementary school.

There have been teachers who have tried to show this in the classroom. Grades, to students, are their salaries. You work hard, you get paid more (in the capitalist system).
In the exercise, which runs for a couple of weeks), students are randomly put into two groups. One group is graded individually. Individuals in the other group receive the average grade of their group.
It’s not surprising what happens. The individual performance group performs better. The group performance goes down over time. C and D students in that group figure the rest of the group will carry them and work even less. A and B students start out strong, but soon wonder why they should bother and perform minimally.
Haven’t heard about this for a while, but several years ago there were reports of teachers who did this exercise being reprimanded or suspended.
Tell your teenager they can’t have a car because the Dem’s are going to take them anyway.
Parents should also be teaching their kids about the federal government’s constitutionally limited powers as the Founding States had intended for those powers to be understood, especially the fed’s limited power to appropriate taxes.

Many years ago a friend had a son come home from college on Christmas vacation.
All during dinner he spouted his socialist nonsense.
Later in the evening he asked if he could use a car to go out.
They said “No,it was purchased with filthy capitalist money.”
He responded by saying that he would take his bike.
They gave him the same response.
He walked-——and shut up about socialism.
A Rant: Can The US Be Forced Into Becoming a Socialist Democracy?
Today’s progressive[sic] seeks to alter the government to a socialist state, one where the authority in power directs (through regulation, taxation, fees, and decrees) the actions of both businesses and individual lives. Governing authority is provided by the government, the people are not willing to engage in the process. Money and transactions are controlled by the government and any wealth produced it distributed according to government edict.
Today’s conservative seeks to “conserve” the US as a republic, the representative form of democracy. Activities are controlled through the elected representatives at the behest of those that elected them; governing authority is vested in the people who willingly engage in the process. Money and transactions are controlled by those who have that money to transact. Any wealth produced is retained by those who best understand how to use it.
The US is/was formed as a constitutional republic and that Constitution is agreed to by the people of the several States of which they are a citizen. Among the primary articles of that very same Constitution is the 4th Article [4th Article in which we are all agreed] is the following language:
Section 4, Clause 1
The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government.
Seems to me that “Socialist Democracy” is a violation of the Constitution.
In other words ... CONTROL FREAKS!
I would ask that you pay special attention to this:
” any wealth produced is distributed according to government edict.”
Under socialism, the government gets its share FIRST. And, it is ALWAYS the largest share. (AOC-70% rate...she never says how much the government keeps.)

They got their instruction through osmosis from two parents who spoke to each other about important stuff in front of them.
No matter what we do LEGAL immigration is going to turn the country socialist. And the amount legal immigration seems to be increasing!
Every time my boys had to do a ‘group project’ in school over a couple of weeks, there were always those in the group who would do the same as you described, and my boys wound up doing the majority of the work (along with a few others) to get a good grade. I would ALWAYS use these experiences to point out to them the basics of human nature, and this is what socialism is, in a nutshell.

Everyone who is in love with the idea of “Democratic Socialism” thinks they will either be one of the Masterminds giving orders or allowed do nothing and have their every want provided for. What they don’t realize is they will be using picks and shovels to mine the heavy metals used to make solar panels or working a horse-drawn plow sixteen hours a day or hand digging the mass graves that are always the end result of such a Utopia.
